Perfect release of a quality product
I have really enjoyed this even though I had to reload the firmware!! I played Final Fantasy V and picked the quick save option which caused a loop and when I recopied firmware and Only used the regular limited save , it worked like a dream. I have played Spiderman mysterious menace and gbc games like Indiana Jones infernal machine. This thing really does a awesome job!

Do not buy!
I thought this product had been patched with the 1.2 patch, but this piece of crap freezes, glitches everytime I try to save a game, takes forever to load a game.....how do you release a product so broken? This console does not save your games

OLD SCHOOL GBP, GBM, GBC, & GBA GAME CARTRIDGES!!!!! No Modern ROMS & HACKS!!!!!
Over all!!! Descent gaming system!!!! Has no cover for game cartridge slot to keep dust out!! Plays GBP, GBM, GBC, & GBA games perfectly but will not accept ROMs or Hack series!!! Somehow the programming will not read or load any updated GB series ROMs or Hacks!!!! Definitely made for old school NES GB platform game Cartridges!!! Does not accept wireless USB gaming controllers!!!! USB cord/cable is long but if your tv is over 10ft away, you need to invest in a USB extension cord/cable!!!!

Wish it saved games
I can get all my games except for some reproductions to play. It's compact size makes it great for playing ges without using a bulkier system. Graphics for most games are suprisingly good for their age. Would've given it five stars if it saved games. Maybe on the next software upgrade.

Does not save ptogress after you turn it off.
The system makes a rom of your cartrage when you put it in and it deletes it when you take it out. It Can't interact witht the cartrage after initially making the rom so it is impossible to save games like pokemon or zelda. It plays your games perfectly but it doesnt let you save your progress if you turn the system off. 2 stars because it works but it does us that major disservice. I liked the retron 2 but this lack of saving wasnt a big deal because all the games were about 30 minutes long.
