I recently reordered and tried the cleanser again and I love it! It smells so good
I initially tried the whole line and was worried it wasn't for me a few months ago. I recently reordered and tried the cleanser again and I love it! It smells so good, and it makes my hair so smooth and reduces frizz! Since using products that are silicone, paraben, and sulfate free, I haven't been able to have a frizz free hair day until I started using this cleanser. So glad I decided to try it again!

great cleanser
Really liked this cleanser. It does not lather, however, it makes your scalp feel clean without feeling stripped. This product works well with the conditioner and the gel as well. The scent in this and all of the products is quite strong. Also, the pumps need to be changed as it is a little hard to get the product out. However, the products work very well and I will likely re-purchase. If you have curly hair, this line is for you!

Amazing for 3b/c curls
Purchased this (along with the conditioner) to replace my deva curl low-poo. This product is amazing for my long 3b/c curls. I really love how this has simplified my routine; all I need is the cleanser, conditioner to detangle, and then conditioner to leave in with a bit of gel on top for a full week of beautiful, soft, and defined curls. I’m obsessed with this product line and will try the gel once my deva curl gel runs out.

Amazing
This and their conditioner are the best combo out there. This is all you need for defined curls. No more gels lathering products etc. Just cleanser and conditioner. Works amazing on tight curls (3c/4a). I dont use any other products anymore.

My favorite CURL cleanser !
NYC curl cleanser is my favorite ( I like it better than Deva Curl cleanser) in general my hair looks better ( nourished and in place ) with NYC products ( cleanser and conditioner ). Other cleansers make my scalp itchy but not this one.

It's a good product but pump was broken
It's a good product but pump was broken. Had to transfer all the contents into another bottle. As for the cleanser itself, I love it. Makes my hair feel clean without any heavy smells. Good ingredients (obviously curly girl approved).

Good Product for Dyed Hair
I really like the peppermint smell. It does leave my hair clean. Also, my dyed hair is in much better condition after using it for a couple months.

My daughters hair is very curly and this didn’t work well for us at all.
