Nice and heavy, well made impact socket. Worked well for removing and installing drive axle yoke nut on semi-tractor.

Tool held up well, did the job removing nut from 27 year old E38 BMW hubs while being paired to impact and torque wrench. Tool did not crack, strip, or break.

The socket (3/4" Drive 19mm) appeared to be of good quality. The wall was thick and build was sturdy, on the bulkier side. Here are the measurements (in mm) in case people are interested: Width/Diameter: 32 (bolt/small end), 44 (driver/large end); Length/Height: 51 (overall), 16 (bolt/small end), 6 (slope/transition), 29 (driver/large end). I really believe the product description should have had the detailed measurements clearly stated for customers to consider.

This impact socket is solid! The 6-point design ensures a secure fit, and the chrome molybdenum alloy steel makes it tough and durable. Perfect for heavy-duty jobs. The 46mm size is spot on for larger bolts, and it handles impact tools with ease. A must-have for any toolbox!

The end of the socket is cut so that it is recessed a bit. I get that it helps reduce friction/marring when removing a nut set against a flat surface, but unfortunately I needed it to remove a relatively thin axle nut torqued down to 120ft/lbs, and all I have is a breaker bar. Lesson learned - I'll be buying an impact wrench soon. I know that's the intended purpose for this socket but I had to rely on a breaker bar, and the design of the socket makes it too easy to slip with that application. It worked fine, but had to take extra care to not round off the nut. Update: I've since used this socket with an impact driver on the same problematic axle nut. Worked great with no issues for removal. I had the same issues getting the axle nut snug with a torque wrench...it took some additional care to get the proper torque of 120ft/lbs without it slipping. Seems durable enough but I may look for a better option to avoid marring my wheels
