Works great in my dehydrator. Keeps clean

These were easily cut to fit the shelves in my dehydrator. I've dried out about 10 pounds of fruit n these so far; apples and persimmons. The apples were no problem at all. The sticky persimmons came off the sheets rater easily, too. A spray down with warm water and they were ready to go again. They're a heck of a lot easier to deal with than parchment paper. Good stuff! And the sheet cut off bits can be used as jar lid grips to open lids. *****It's been over 6 months since I got these. They've help dehydrate a few hundred pounds of fruit and 50 pounds of meat for jerky. They're still working great. They're easy to clean and they keep fruit and meat from sticking to the metal grates and the sheets. These are worth every penny. I'd buy them again if these ever wear out!***

The reason I gave this item a "4" is When I bought these sheets for my Dehydrator I did not realize that they had no hole in the middle and they were way to large for my bins. But the quality is great and after I cut holes in the middle of them they work great. I dry spices and the dried spices will fall thru the holes in the bins if you do not have filter sheets on each bin. They wash great and have held up through many cycles.

If you have a dehydrator with stainless steel racks, you need these or something similar. Many foods or herbs will stick to the stainless steel but not to silicone. Additionally, the mesh of these mats is very small. They allow good airflow but even the smallest cut item won't fall through. While it would be a bit easier to use and clean them if they were a bit stiffer, the flexibility of these mats makes it easier to cut them to size and to store them - they can be stored flat or rolled. Additionally, the "weave" of the mesh matched the cut of the squares (on the mats I got, at least), making the process of cutting the mat to the size of my racks easy - all I needed to do was follow the line of the weave. Finally - these mats are pure silicone, not a mesh coated in silicone, so they won't be subject to separation or delamination with use.

Very impressed with these sheets. I placed these on an oven safe wire cooling rack and placed pitted pie cherries on these for dehydrating in the oven. They worked great. The dehydrated fruit came off easily and the dried cherry juice washed off easily as well. I can use these many times.
