Mitutoyo139-201, 1.5" - 12" X .001" Tublar Inside Micrometer

I've used Starrett stem mics my whole machining career but it was time to replace my 3" - 12" set so I opted for this set because it reads down to 1.5". The handle makes reading small diameters easy without having to use telescoping gauges and every configuration has been right on size straight from the factory.

I like it a lot especially for the price the only thing I didn’t realize how is it doesn’t have a locking mechanism to lock in your measurement I’m still trying to get used to that maybe I’m doing it wrong

Opened them up and was pretty disappointed with the case, seems cheap and not very sturdy, opens up easily.

Excellent set of ID mics. Can never go wrong with Mitutoyo.

Great solid parts. Was perfect for the machinery we were working with. Also, best price I found for a whole set. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
