Keeps everything cool and stay on your tri bike
Pretty good bottle.Love the Rubber valve because it closes really well and fast, it's leak free and when riding it doesn't hurt ("bite") your lips if you ever bang it accidentally againts your tooth. I'm sure many cyclists have experienced this, it happens to me with the hard plastic valves. Also the size is pretty good for those pesky saddle cages (i'm thinking mostly used in triathlon) from which all the bottles seem to pop out of!I really like them. Have had 3 in total. Will keep buying them if they keep making them and i keep needing them.

Good water bottle so far
Good water bottle so far. Keeps water cool. I have used Camelbak podium chill and Polar insulated bottles before and they keep falling out of my rear mounted cages on my triathlon bike. This bottle has a deep groove, so it should stay put in my Gorilla Xlab cage. Still winter here in NY, so I can't test it on the road yet.One of my bottles was received cracked on the outer shell, so that may be a problem if the bottle is dropped while on a ride. The seller is sending me a replacement. Top notch!

Real Deal
This is the real deal. Xlab is right - these bottles fit their cages best. Was using other bottles just fine in training but they were very tight. For my 70.3, I got all cool shot bottles to be able to move from rear to frame while cycling.

Defective - Don’t purchase
I got two bottles in early March. I washed them and put them away because I had other bottles that I was using. Today I used one of them for the first time since I bought them. I filled it with a chocolate energy drink, and the entire exterior cell was filled with it. The interior has a crack at the bottom. I tried cleaning it, but it’s useless. Bummer because I have many xlab products.

Lots of broken bottle misery
We have broken 6 of these bottles. We broke 2 today. One launched and broke on a minor bump and I dropped the other one. Last year when we bought our new P3's we decided to go Xlab since it was by far the most popular system you see at a Tri. We spent a stupid amount of money and went all carbon on both bikes. I had my bottle launch and break on a bump on my first race leaving me with no water. One of our friends bought the same system and after having the same issue she started using giant rubber bands to hold her bottles in. We really love having the Xlab bags under the mount and if we could solve the bottle issue this would be great but as is it is just horrible. I have never broken another bottle. I have Polar bottles that are 10 years old. I came here today to the reviews to see who else is having this issue and what they did. Xlab needs a better bottle and at least stop selling these. I so regret spending so much money on a system that doesn't work because of a couple of plastic bottles. Don't do what we did. Look at some other system until they get this to work.Update - we found Polar bottles that fit perfectly and work great. No more issues.
