I bought this book when I was toying with the idea of setting up a freelance VA business.It is well written, down to earth and clearly explores everything you'd expect to come across on your VA journey (as well as the things you may not have considered!).Now, a month into my VA business, I cannot express how much this book has inspired me and given me the confidence to go for it! Whether you're thinking of becoming a VA or are already on your journey, I can't recommend this book enough!

I bought this book initially via Kindle, prior to setting up as a virtual assistant (VA) and recently I have also ordered a paperback copy, as I refer to it regularly. Prior to purchasing this book I'd read lots of information and looked at various trainers courses, but despite the information being helpful, I couldn't really relate to the person or their style. That was until I came across Catherine's book!From the moment I began reading 'How to be a Virtual Assistant: Start and run your own successful VA business' I could immediately relate to Catherine, I felt like she was talking directly to me, she addressed all of the issues I was pondering and instills confidence throughout. Catherine's writing style is informative, real and honest, with little anecdotes to reinforce her advice. The book includes essential tasks to complete and I really enjoyed Catherine's humour too. Catherine still works as a VA so the advice she provides is accurate and as a result of her own experience as a current VA.This book has been a brilliant purchase, and I would highly recommend this to anyone who is either aspiring to become a VA or even to those already established and are looking to grow their business.

I just started looking into becoming a virtual assistant and this book was exactly the push I needed. It's written in bite-sized chapters so you can easily fit a whole chapter in a few minutes of downtime. The writing style was personal and always entertaining. There's helpful links, tips, and tools included. One of my favorite things was the fact that there were little activities that really helped me define my target market and take the first steps into launching my own business. Even if you don't think you have time to learn how to transfer your skills to work from anywhere, I'm telling you that you do with this book!

Loved this book, couldn’t put it down, read through from start to finish in one go. Very well written, easy to understand, really informative. Catherine’s no nonsense and honest approach is great, it feels like a friend giving you guidance with a few laughs along the way. The book is a confidence boost and encourages you to put things into practice. Great to refer back to. Highly recommend.
