Very nice, comprehensive book. I needed a much smaller version for a crash course for my grandkids so I ended up returning them. The book, itself, is very nice. It was just too comprehensive for my needs.

Im sure this was a solid book but I honestly didnt want to dive into it so I returned it.

No room for work, no examples to do work

I bought this used, upon receiving this book I do see that it had some water damage but it was ok for a reference book. This have helped my freshman daughter with math, being able to to look back and reference previous math problems. Good buy even in this condition, and fast delivery!

The book has few minor grammatical errors and a few errors in the images. But overall the book is really good. The author explains to you all the basic concepts in a very simple language and a very intuitive way, and also recommends a few other books at some points. The modular layout of the book will be pretty helpful if you're only looking for specific topics. Absolutely recommended for young students and even adults trying to give Mathematics a second chance. Combine this book with Khan Academy and you're gonna have no trouble understanding, and even appreciating, all the basic aspects of Math!

Loving this book. I'm going cover to cover and I'm honestly surprised by the small pieces of information that I never knew... Names for things, easier formuli for equations etc. Really good stuff

If your like myself and you have no math skills what so ever, you struggled with math your whole life, and your looking to improve your math skills, I can almost promise you this book will have you doing math you’ve never even imagined you could. I personally worked through the entire book from start to finish (which was a little painful at times because I already knew some of the stuff at the beginning of the book) but I did that so that I could really get myself into “math mode” and one week after doing this book, I’m doing algebra, long division, exponents, graphs, integers, fractions and percentages like it’s nothing. I swear to you if your reading this and looking for a good book to start with I would highly suggest this. Some of the reviews point out a few grammar errors and whatever, get over it. This book is amazing and has helped me so much. I can’t stress enough, your best bet is to do what I did and go start to finish (although you don’t need to, you can just jump to the categories you need help with if your looking to just brush up on specific topics, which is another reason this book is great is you don’t HAVE to go start to finish you can just jump). Amazing book. Highly recommend, there is also another book that goes with this book I have both and it really helps to go through both of them.
