I have been using these for 3 yrs now. I get really bad headaches and migraines & so does my son. I had heart surgery about 4 yrs ago and there isn’t much I can take for my migraines do to all the meds I’m on, not to mention before my heart issues most meds didn’t do much to relieve my pain anyways. We bought these to test them out to see if it can help. They are wonderful. The cooling gel in them relieves my pain. The fact that it sticks to you helps better then an ice pack cause your hands free and are able to do what you have to do. I especially love it that I can take a nap with out it sliding of my forehead since I’m a side sleeper. I will say once in a great while I have received a batch where the adhesive isn’t as good as usual so that’s the down side. But it doesn’t happen often enough for me to stop using this product cause it really works.

Let me start by saying that I rarely write reviews unless I am totally impressed or underwhelmed by a product. I am using my first patch as I type, and all I can say is "Wow!" For years, Ive suffered from mild to moderate daily chronic headaches. With that being said, I am always looking for non-pharmaceutical methods to help alleviate the pain as to avoid rebound headaches. I have purchased multiple (4) brands of cool wraps for my forehead on amazon, but I find that none stay cool long enough. Getting up to retrieve a new cooling pack when you have a debilitating headache becomes an annoyance.These patches are doing just the trick! So far, the patch is sticking like a charm. Although slightly cool upon application, they definitely cooled much more after a few minutes of wear, and the gentle menthol smell I get a whiff of every now and then is relaxing. This product has not made my headaches disappear completely-nothing besides medicine ever does-but they are definitely alleviating the pain much better than any other methods Ive used thus far. This product used in conjunction with a heating pad rolled up under my neck is my favorite combination so far. I am verrrry happy with this purchase and would happily recommend this to any other daily chronic headaches sufferers whether your headache's origin be migraine, tension, stress, etc.

I love the feeling of these cooling pads. There is nothing worse than a bad headache and these pads provide just the right amount of calming coldness. The only downside is that they don't stick very well and come off easily which is why I took off a star, and because of that issue I don't think the claim of 'up to 12 hours' could be accurate for anyone unless they laid there unmoving for 12 hours.One thing that I recommend after applying one of these patches is to take a few minutes and relax and just focus on the cooling feeling instead of the pain from the headache. If I take the time to relax in this manner for a few minutes, when I do return to whatever I was doing, the headache itself seems to have lost a bit of it's strength and starts to fade over the next few hours.

I get 2-3 migraines a month and when they arrive, they hit with quite a punch. If I catch them at their onset, a triptan medication can usually make it disappear. But, if I don't catch it early enough, or I'm waiting for the triptan to kick in, it can be pure torture. I've tried all of the freezer neck and head wraps, and they can take the edge off, but they are too cold at the beginning, not flexible, and they thaw out too fast. In a moment of despair, as I was battling another crippling migraine, my Amazon search led me to this patch. Anything was worth a shot, and I ordered a box to have on hand for the next attack.That attack came yesterday and it was a doozy. The migraine hurt so bad that even my tongue hurt! I put a patch on and took my Imitrex. Aggghhhh... Sweet relief instantly from the patch. It made my headache bearable while I laid down and waited for my Imitrex to do the magic. An hour later, and I was good to go. I left the patch on all day, as it was so cooling and it kept any residual pain far away from my mind. These things are awesome. I highly recommend.

Best thing ever for migraines. I have tried meds, like most & although I often do pair these with meds, I would give up the meds before these. If I can catch it fast enough I often take nothing & this alone is enough. I also use it on the kids when feverish & they LOVE them. I used them on the back of my neck while in labor too & found them so helpful. I personally also find cold on the back of my neck helpful when nauseated & used these while having morning sickness & stomach bugs. This is a product I make sure to never run out of in my house. I obviously know you can use a cold cloth, but the issue is having to stay still, lay down, get it cool again every few minutes. This sticks in place, no fuss and stays cool for hours. It's totally worth it when you are feeling like dirt.

There isn't very much to say, but as someone who didn't believe these would help after trying store bought ones, I've probably ordered close to 10 packs of them. I get chronic migraines and these help, a lot. If they start to feel warm, it might be your skin, take it off for a second, it'll feel nice and cold as you put it back on. I keep the packages in the fridge, and I've had them on over night. The scent opens my sinuses a bit, as well the cooling lasts for quite some time. Very happy with these, they work great on the back of your neck too. Granted they won't help everyone, especially depending on what caused the migraine, but as someone who gets them for no reason they at least help me get to sleep.

I LOVE THESE!I get migraines when it's that time of the month. Sometimes my prescription medications do not work. When this happens, all I want to do is lay down and stick one of these on my forehead! I keep them stocked in the fridge, so when I need one they're nice and cold. The coolness is soothing, and so is the lavender scent. They help me fall asleep and help me relax. If I need one of these and I'm going out in public, I'll stick one on the back of my neck.I'll be buying these for the rest of my life! Or.. as long as I have migraines =( LOL.I can only find these on Amazon and at Walmart. But I prefer to buy them on Amazon being going to Walmart is such a hassel!
