Great little stove with two flaws
First off, the stove is super light (45g on my kitchen scale). It packs down to about the size of three books of matches stacked.Giving it just 3 stars for two reasons: a) the stove is pretty much either a torch at 100% capacity or off, as trying to get it to simmer it will get blown out in the lightest of winds, and b) because you're always using it at full capacity it burns through fuel.My other canister stove (optimus crux light) wider flame pattern allowing it to be operated at simmering usage and better protected from wind. For the Olicamp, I typically get 3 nights out of a 4oz canister (dinner, coffee & hot breakfast), whereas the same cooking on my other stove would yield me roughly 10 nights from the same 4oz canister.Saving a few grams may not be worth it when you need to carry a second canister.

Decently good
This stove is good. It is made very well. But I didn't think it was worth 1.5x the price of the BRS stove. I've always considered Olicamp as a budget level brand so to price it at the Soto Amicus level is stretching it. There are better lightweight options at this price point.

If you are trying to cut every gram you can, then this stove may be the one for you
I bought this stove to replace my current backpacking stove (it weighs 94 grams). The Olicamp Ion stove cuts the weight down to 44 grams (thumbs up). However after a test run boiling one cup of water, which took 3:24, I was not impressed enough to justify the added expense. Yes, it saves me 50 grams, but I have to use a lighter to light it (my old one has a built in piezo ignitor). There are only three arms to hold the pot so you have to make sure it is very level. All the heat from the flame made one of the rivets tighten so much that after the stove was cool it was very hard to fold that arm back up.Bottom line if you are trying to cut every gram you can, then this stove may be the one for you.

I really wanted to like it
I bought this stove after having used the only Camp kinetic Ultra titanium stove for a few trips. First I'll start by saying that the stove is very Compact and lightweight. However, after some testing, have come to the realization that this stove will not ignite easily from a spark like the kinetic Ultra titanium stove does. In fact, it is even a little difficult to light the stove using a lighter or a match. I tested this stove using jetboil isobutane / propane

Good stove for UL packers
At 1.5 oz, this works on my ultralight gear list just great. Small, easy to use, light, flawless performance. If this came with a starter button and/or a cuben fiber sack, I would have given it another star. But it's still a product I would buy again.
