Rotary cord switch for Ridgeway Grandfather clock
The rotary switch on my grandfather clock was broken during a move. I ordered a new rotary switch replacement. The switch was easy to install and works beautifully with the clock light. It's perfect!

Good enough
Successful using as a replacement for a broken desk lamp. Really pleased that it was easy to install (check YouTube for guidance on how to align wires). Feels a bit flimsy but will handle with care.

A classic and clever design, but just a little too small, though still usable with work
This appears to a sturdy product, hard plastic and metal where it needs to be. And the design is very clever so you only have one screw to tighten. You cut your electrical wire, cut out a segment on the hot side. The case inserts pins into the hot wire when you tighten down the one screw. My only issue is that to get my electrical cord to fit inside I had to shave off some of the plastic. I also had to shave some plastic off the top of the wire so the pins would work and make the electrical connection. But, this is a classic design and it should work for you too ... even if with a little extra work.

Even Grandma can install this!
Needed a shorter switch on a lamp cord. Purchased this and thought, it can't be this easy. I was wrong. Pick the length you want, cut the cord accordingly. Drop the cord into the switch, screw it down and Bingo! Nothing is ever that simple but it totally was. I'm 75 and now an apprentice electrician!😁👍

Works but had a big flaw
Replaced the switch that broke on my Scentsy. Easy to replace and now I know if another breaks I can replace. The reason for 3 star is because the nut to close the case was flawed and would not thread no matter what I did. I had to dig out the nut from the broken switch to finish project. If not for that important little part being flawed, would have been 5 stars.

Too small for lamp cords!
The channels in this replacement switch were too small for lamp cords to fit into. If you somehow managed to get the standard size lamp cord into them the wheel will not turn. I ordered the exact same thing, I'm assuming from a different company,in white and they worked perfectly. This product here is defective and does not work. Returning
