These joint sockets are ok. I needed them thinking they would help with getting into a tight place on my engine but they were to loose at the joints and moved around too much. Definitely not as good as ones I e borrowed in the past. The price was basically why I tried them. Next time I'll go with a name brand from home Depot or Lowes.

Obviously not impact rated, but these seem to be built well enough for occasional use when you have trouble getting to a fastener. I compared these to the 3/8 inch Gearwrench U joint socket I have and there is a noticeable quality difference but in actual use, they work just the same. I can't see these breaking unless you put a crazy amount of torque on them, something I wouldn't recommend anyway even with more expensive sockets.For home or part time shop use, these are good to have and come in very handy. They aren't the most compact universal joint sockets but they are fine for most garage mechanic work. The ball bearings are nice and hold my sockets in just fine. It's easy to say "these are cheap so they will break" but I just don't see them breaking under normal occasional use for tricky nuts and bolts. I do not recommend using these with impact wrenches because it really doesn't look like the joints are meant for hammering. Other than that, I have no issues and it's great to have all 3 sizes to add to my tool box.

Now, if I were using these more often or under higher 'stress', I'd definitely go for a higher quality, since these are fine but not built for more professional use.The three sizes fit as they should and are no problem to use. The joints are sturdy enough to handle the basic usage I need and do help with getting the necessary angle.I'm happy with them for what they are.

For the price, these are great for travel toolkits, but not at all professional-grade or expected to last.

I like the sturdiness of these and the chrome finish. Great value for the money, especially for a person who is trying to build a nice tool collection.
