I wear a men's 11 shoe, seeing the reviews about ordering up, because they are made small, would I order a XL?

I wear a size 9 and the size I ordered was supposed to fit shoe size 9-11, but I had to force them over the shoe. I would go larger. I don't remember the different sizes anymoere. Good luck.Jack

I purchased an XL for my Dad to fit over size 12 shoes. IF you're a women's size 10 sneaker that shouldn't be more than a size large. The chart for these boots sizes the large at a women's size 9.5 to 10. The size chart was dead on for my Dad's size shoe so you can trust that they're accurate in their suggestions...

I am size 8 1/2 what size should i get?

Since all shoes differ in size and I don’t wear a size 8 1/2 I dont know. I bought a pair that was an 11 for my 10 1/2 foot and it only fit one pair of my shoes. It was a pair I could leave in the boot so I only slip them on over my socks each time I shovel snow.
