I bought this converter so I could play an original Nintendo Entertainment System on my 4K Samsung TV. My tv only has HDMI ports and the NES has AV connections. This adapter worked perfectly and I was able to play my old console on my new tv. Very exciting! It’s easy to use. I will say there was a bit of ghosting on the screen in the beginning (that went away eventually) but I don’t know if that was the converter’s fault or if it was just the console having difficulties. I would be interested to hear if anyone had a similar experience. Overall the product works, so I would still recommend it. It’s a great price for the product.

My husband and I grew up w N64 and were so annoyed the last time we owned one that we had to have a stupid, tiny screened, bulky TV sitting in the corner of our apartment to play this. We were so annoyed we were stupid enough to get rid of all of it completely.Well once we came into ownership of another n64 we found this and it’s a godsend!!!! We can play n64 on our hd tv!!! It’s huge! I love it! The hd tv definitely accentuates how old the n64 imagery is but sit far enough back and it doesn’t even matter.Only downside is this thing gets hot when you play it for awhile and sometimes the entire thing just messes up and freezes everything but it’s a small price to pay to be able to play it on your hd tv!Btw: Rare games came out w a bundle of remastered games for Xbox! So if you’re a banjo kazooie can you can play them all on the Xbox with much, much better picture quality!...but you can’t use the cheats you used to be able to use for the n64.

I recently bought a Dreamcast to replace the one we lost in Super Storm Sandy flood. I found that our 4K tv didn't have AV jack to be able to hook it up, so I found this product on Amazon thankfully. It worked like a charm. We were back in business PowerStone-ing it UP! It worked as advertised and I had no issues. Thanks for making my husband's Christmas a trip down memory lane when we use to stay up to 3am playing video games. Sometimes good things do come in small packages. :-)

Item works perfectly. I couldn't figure it out at first because there are picture instructions instead of written instructions, but once it was connected properly it worked perfectly. I contacted the seller trying to figure it out and the seller responded immediately. Great customer service. Great product. I can now connect my old school VHS/DVD player to a newish digital tv.

Sony Playstation 1 " PS1 " owners rejoice - this is the solution if your AV receiver or television won't accept a 240p signal from a Nintendo 64 or early playstation. We like to keep our obsolete media available, so we have a laserdisk player, vcr and a Playstation. They all plug into a analog switch box and then its output goes into this HDMI converter. It really cut down on our cable clutter in the cabinet. Product came quickly and works well. I used the adapter to connect my daughter's modes XBox via HDMI. Really cool to be able to show my daughter and her friends the kind of games we played in the 70, 80, and 90's.I read other reviews about the unit staying warm if it remains plugged in after use. I haven't experienced this, and tested it out by leaving it plugged on for several days.

This convertor works great. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and it does a great job converting the RCA to HDMI. I was worried when I first plugged it in because the screen on the TV went blue but it was because I didn't have the connections tight enough. Once they were pushed together more snuggly it worked great. I'm very happy with this purchase.(EDIT) It worked so well that I bought another one to connect my composite hub into a 4K TV. With the built-in 1080p upscaling my Wii and original Xbox look great even on a 55-inch 4K screen. Every component works great, just make sure you push the RCA connections in tightly.

Bought this so I could hook up an N64 nintendo system (which only has RCA cables) to a newer tv (which only has hdmi input).Works perfectly! The converter also gives you the option to switch between 720p and 1080p (though N64 only puts out like 480 so this part was irrelevant to me however my tv does recognize the device is switching properly between the two).
