Perfect for Burn Barrel Management
A welder gave me a lighter duty version of Black Stallion gloves, and when they wore out I bought these to replace them. I don't weld, but I use a burn barrel a fair amount. These let me grab burning limbs and reposition them. They're thick enough that they aren't suitable for tender work, but they are awesome to protect your forearms from anything that wants to hurt you, be it thorns or fire. I have huge hands, and these fit perfectly.

These are the best aluminum mig gloves!
These are the most comfortable gloves I have ever used. And I have tried them all. The Nomex lining has better heat resistance than anything on the market. The amount of dexterity you get is also really impressive. They are the perfect balance between protection and comfort. All the reviews that say they burn up and shrink too quickly just hold their hand 3 inches from the arc. As long as you keep a reasonable distance, they last as long as any other glove out there.

Welding with comfort and durability
These gloves have lasted me a month and going on 2 weeks. Being mindful of my hands these gloves take the heat and are super comfortable and fit really well. I also enjoy the long cuff. I work mig weld 10 hours a day and im still impressed would recommend.

Most comfortable gloves I've used for SMAW but the palm is thin and doesn't last.
Like another reviewer mentioned, they aren't that durable lasted less than 4 weeks (arrived 11/9 hole in thumb by 12/5). I am a student going through welding school at night so they were only used 4 hours a day 4 days a week. That said, they keep the back of your hand cooler and are more comfortable than any other glove I have used. If you are strictly burning rods they may hold up but I will take my money elsewhere for the next set.
