I highly rate this Aircon unit it does a fab job!! I have it in the living room which is approx 3.5m x 5m maybe a touch more and it cools the room down really quickly!! I've ran it on the hottest days we've had so far with no issues. It's much more compact and quiet than an old model one I had 5 years ago and works just as well. I don't find it noisey in comparison to other aircons or fans even, I turn the TV up a bit and it's just background noise. I haven't bought a window kit as yet as I have standard open out windows but even with the window open for the pipe it's working brilliantly. I find the pipe more than long enough, I am 5ft 6 and fully stretched it goes to my chin!! As it is an Aircon you don't need to place it blowing on you it cools the full room. And the fact it's a dehumidifier too is a bonus as I needed one of those. I am going to purchase the same unit in a lower btu for my bedroom! I have fibromyalgia and do not cope well in the heat so this is a lifesaver for me, I bought it on offer making it even better value. The only downside I have found was getting the pipe on the back of the unit but it's on now and working brilliantly, it can even get too cold lol!! If you want a cooler room buy one and you will have one in minutes of plugging it in! Just check your room size and get an appropriate BTU, I just googled, I could of got away with a lower rating for my room but I am very pleased with this unit, I am glad I didn't get a more expensive one now! The unit I find is more responsive to the remote control than the buttons on top of it but that is fine. Power is excellent, ease of use is excellent.

great cooling ability,only 2 fan setting feels like 1 more lower speed for night time is needed as theres a good hum, still i was able to sleep.

Very pleased with purchase :this makes all the difference to keep rooms cool during heat wave.Super easy set up and to move between rooms in the house.Design looks even better then expected:Window kit came in matching black (not white as shown on images) and fits with all our sash windows.So much better then the standard white option, because it is easier to clean with all the dirt from main road.Only little drawback is that the adjustable telescopic seal plates for the window could do with a silcone or rubber edge to seal better.& there is now difference between 'quiet mode' & 'normal mode' :Powerful Air cons are generally noisy - so is this one. Therefore not ideal to run during sleep - if you are sensitive to noise.Conclusion:This is great Value for money to keep you cool during the summer months.Hope it will last a few years because we could def not live without it anymore.

Was slightly dubious being cheaper than a lot of models out there, but it works really well. It is fairly noisy, but on the ‘sleep’ mode it is quieter. It’s not so loud that it disturbs me trying to get to sleep.The box it was delivered in was brilliant as it didn’t require me to lift the unit out (as it’s understandably very heavy!) as the box, when the seals were cut, lifted off over the unit - simple thing but it made it a lot easier setting it up on my own.Setting it up was pretty straight forward as well.The most difficult bit was fitting the tube to the attachment to go out the window and on the back of the unit - it still keeps coming out when I move it but once it’s attached and turned on, it’s fine.I couldn’t attach the window seal kit which comes with it, due to the way my window opens, but I just put the hose out of the window and close it to, and it still works absolutely fine. I do this, turn it on, and close my bedroom door, for about 60-90 mins before going to bed, in which time it has really cooled down my room significantly! I then have the option of leaving it on for a while when I go to bed or turning it off and it’s already cooler.Genuinely the best purchase I’ve ever made! Wish I had done it sooner. Makes sleeping in the hot weather much easier.

Ive had an air con unit before here and abroad quite pricy brands before however due to the budget crisis I decided to cut some costs & look for something low on energy consumption. I decided this was the best option after searching and comparing for quite some time. It arrived very quickly, was easy to manoeuvre, is quiet and small enough to not get in the way. It has multiple settings such as air con, fan and dehumidifier etc. I used this in the last heatwave and it was great at keeping myself and my dogs nice and cool. So far it’s keeping up with the leading brands. It comes with all needed accessories too, although the window fitting is only for sash windows so is useless for my windows meaning a waste of material. It would be great if you could pick a different window fitting or decline needing it when ordering to prevent this for future purchases.

We needed this for our loft, which turns into a steam/sauna room in the summer.It really did the job, but the only issue is the flexible pipe and placing it out of the window. It really is fiddly and trying to find a way or attachment to prevent cold air from escaping room hasn't been easy.Bought one of those window sleeves, but didn't work well with this unit.The unit itself is great. Not as loud, responds well with remote, and cools room down within 10-15mins.It's compact, heavy but has wheels so can be moved around the room.We have no issues and look forward to using it again this summer!
