Q: Does this axe come with sheath, or do you need to purchase one separately?

Comes with a sheath/mask that covers the axe bit. Not a full coverage sheath, just covers the sharp edge.

Q: Why is this camp carver listed as 17# when councils website clearly says 2#?

We're not sure what accounts for the discrepancy between the numbers. The website says 2# in the axe's title, but says 1.7# in the description and on the outside of the box as well. 1.7 refers to the weight of the axe head, which is 26 oz or 1.7 lbs.

Q: What does the cutting edge measure ?

point to point 3 7/8”. Following the curve edge, almost 4”
