YLI20210-AST 100wt Silk Sampler Thread, 200m

Beautiful neutral thread to use for a variety of appliqué projects

Wanted a set of fairly neutral colors and this was the closest I found for doing EPP as this 100 wt thread is so fine there is no problem hiding stitches. I love the way it glides through fabric. Perfect for my needs.

The sheerness is normal to me, but then again I don't know if it's supposed to be different versus regular thread.The thickness viewing it is thin, but I pulled on it and it's as strong as regular thread. Will update when I actually used it.

It works perfect for my handmade embroidery project. Love it! So thin and shiny. But I doubt it is 200 meters. You can see on my picture the purple spool says 200m that I bought separately and brown from this set also said 200m. I didn't want to check it for sure :)

This thread was quite a bit thinner than I was looking for.

What a difference this thread makes! It slips through the layers of fabric, while the stitches ‘disappear’! I’m so glad you had these colors in a sampler pack, as it makes traveling with my handwork so tidy!

This product is wonderful and only 2nd to their customer service. I never have used silk thread before but am not sorry I went to this company for 1st try. The silk thread is strong & beautiful! I used it to top stitch details on a satin blouse & am still getting compliments on the professional look of stitching. Highly recommend!!
