Works Great for My RC Vehicles!!
This pit stand works great in my hobby room. I didn't think that it would really make much of a difference in the way that I work on my trucks, but it really does. It allows me to move the vehicle about more freely without having to worry about holding onto it. Doing basic maintenance is a snap now, as all I have to do is flip the vehicle around on it's stand without having to worry about picking it up at all.My SCT and other trucks fit on it with their wheels and tires on with no issues. I've noticed a few people mentioning that they have trucks that drag along the table when they leave the wheels on, but I haven't had this issue. It works fine with my Torment SCT, Stampede, and my on road car. I did find that with my Summit the wheels and tires would drag, but that's a huge truck so I feel that was to be expected. I simply removed the wheels when using the stand with the Summit, and didn't have any issues. In fact, I feel that removing the wheels while using the stand would be a preferred method, as it makes it just that much easier.I'm really glad I bought the stand, as it's made maintenance on my trucks that much easier. It also breaks down to a fairly flat set of parts for easy transport inside a pit box or bag. I also like the parts tray on the front of it...no more losing screws on the floor that were just rolling around on the table!!!Highly recommended.

Used for Traxxas RCs
My husband ordered this to use while working on his Traxxas RC cars! It held them up just to the right hight that he needed them to be. A bonus was that it turned so he did not have to remove the car and turn it to the right direction.

Design not perfect, but easily fixed
The base is plastic. That's ok, but it could be a little heavier with a lower center of gravity to reduce tipping. However the main problem is the height. My 1:10 models' tires hang off the platform to about ¼ inch above the base of the device. They can touch the top of the table, on which the device sits, when I rev up the motor to test it. This causes the model to rock a bit and engage the surface of the table. Not good.I used a cheap solution to both problems. I cut a slab of ¾ inch thick plywood and mounted the device on it. This raises the height and gives it more heft and a lower center of gravity. Extending the plywood slab an inch or two from the base allows me to clamp it to the table top.The device's platform is pretty well designed, but it doesn’t fit the base of some of my cars. This causes the car to be unstable when revving up the motor. If you aren’t careful the car will rock and could slip off the platform. If that happens the car can move pretty fast and end up on the floor or crash into a wall. I had to epoxy a Velcro strap to the bottom of the platform and strap the model to it before testing the throttle.

Very Handy Tool for the Job
I've got a Traxxas Slash 4x4 and when on this stand, the tires are at least 1" off the table-top. I'd have to go to tires 2" bigger to make it hit. And I'm getting ready to do the Low CG conversion so that should give me even more clearance. This stand works great for repair work. The only thing that could be better would be if there was a braking mechanism that would liimit its ability to rotate so easily. It's a standard problem, sometimes you want it to rotate and sometimes you don't. But for the price, this thing is pretty much perfect. Also use it for my RC10 B4.2. Perfect for it as well. The other genius feature is that it breaks down easily for hauling around in the tool box. Great tool and great price.

Good stand for light- to medium-weight vehicles
I had been using this stand for the past 8 months for my Traxxas 1:16 Mini E-Revo and my lightened 1:10 Losi Ten-SCTE. I even used this to fix my buddy's Traxxas Rustler VXL. This stand is great because it collapses down and stores in a more compact form. The tray in front is convenient for axle nuts and body clips. That said, I'm a little disappointed that the base had a stress fracture starting around the metal ring that holds the cylinder to elevate the platform. In my opinion, the plastic material surrounding the metal ring is a bit too thin to be supporting a "heavy" model's weight. That's why I mentioned that I have a lightened Losi Ten-SCTE because they're known for being one of the heaviest Short Course Trucks out there, but I put it on a diet and it weighs a bit less than a stock SCTE yet it still stressed out this stand. I'm very particular about my tools and equipment and as such I don't abuse them at all. If you have light- to medium-weight vehicle, then this stand should serve you well. Just make sure that you center the vehicle's weight on the elevated stand so as not to introduce some side-loading at the base.

Better Then The Pic Looks ..In My OP That Is
Just got My R/C Car Stand in today & I can tell it is worth the price. Most important thing about this product I can pass along would be that Its a little bigger than the pic looks ..good for My 1/10 Scale Buggy ..not so good for My 1/16 Scale Buggy, unless the Wheels are removed first. What I like the most is that I can disassemble it into 3 pieces & take it along if need be. The plastic definitely Looks & Feels Supportive. The 2 Rubber tracks are well glued & the metal pipe in-between the base an lift is a perfect fit, allowing it to spin freely with minimal wobble ..meaning it should hold an R/C steady an true for tuning. I'm Confident I will not need to edit my 5 star review after putting it through some use, though If I'm wrong I will

Works with 1/10 4x4s just fine! Perfect!
Just got this product today for all the people that Said it doesn’t fit most 4 x 4 1/10 scale machines was wrong. Best fits my Traxxas rustler 4 x 4 XL perfect even with the big sledgehammer tired it will work. As far as dirtiness what do you want to piece of plastic mix with a piece of aluminum steel in between. It’s perfect for what I need. Plus the tray is super convenient. Some of the higher end ones don’t even have that.
