Does the job very well!
It’s a little smaller than I was expecting, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s a sharp looking burn pit & extremely portable. The fan will make it burn through the small bits of wood very quickly but it was perfect to keep warm in the rain & wind :) I recommend bringing a camp ax or machete with you- the wood will need to be cut smaller than you think.

Original Carrying Case
This high quality case fits well over the fire pit. It's a nice quality build. I do use it to carry wood as it's thick and durable. The straps are a nice touch to close and tighten for carrying wood.

works good, but not perfect
I really like this unit, it does reduce smoke by a substantial amount, puts our super cool ambiance vibes. where it falls a little short is the small area to place logs. they have to be pretty short cut and small. This is a double edge sword, I realize this was done to keep the unity highly portable, which it is.

Expensive
I think this is expensive for a tote bag. There’s like $3 worth of material in here. It’s quite a cash cow for biolite. That being said, it does work for it’s intended purpose

The mat poker, lighter, even some kindling if ya want. Heavy duty bag. Makes carrying the firepit much easier.

I used it as a charcoal BBQ and a firepit, I was totally satisfied with the operation in both cases. As a firepit it burned nice and clean. I would recommend this product in the future for sure.
