SZLG 10 X LB RB Bumper Switch Button Replacement for Xbox 360 Xbox One Controller Buttons

Its annoying that the bumpers are the only two mechanical buttons on the controller, and thus are the ones most likely to fail. Microsoft could've, and probably should've, made them magnetic like the triggers or membrane like everything else. This set is a reasonable one, if pricey, for replacing a dodgy button. Its not a repair for someone not pretty comfortable with electronics repairs -- the controller needs to be completely disassembled, and there's some nearby surface mount parts so heat management when desoldering is important. (Of note, the reflowed solder paste used on these has a higher melt point than most solder you'd use at home, so you may need to turn your iron up to get it to melt properly -- I had to set mine to 380c) But once replaced, it worked great. The feel is different from the original switch -- it appears to take slightly more pressure to depress -- but other than a light sound difference, its not noticeable once the bumpers are back on. I kind of wish I replaced both switches on my controller, not just the bad one, so they matched. But I noticed it after I'd already re-assembled things.

I don’t really know how well they work. I can’t say they did a bad job or a good job but the delivery was fine. I do have them and I would suggest that you be more versed in soldering before ordering them. They are not plug and play obviously.

Bought a used Xbox One that came with a controller that had a defective bumper button. These buttons are slightly different, and have a louder locking noise and is a little harder to press than the original. The controller is functioning normally though.

They work well so far. Had no trouble installing any of them and there are no lemons so far either (I used all of them, but one). I'll make updates of things should change.

I replaced the RB button on a Wolverine Tournament edition and a standard edition XBOX controller. These buttons require at least 2-to-3 times the force to actuate. Rather noisy clicks. It works but I wish I had found ones with better tactile performance.
