Gift for niece
My niece is four and loves dolls and pink and normal things girls her age like. I thought I would change things up a bit and get her a painting of Marie Curie as a princess and a book to go a long with it so she would know who Marie Curie was for Christmas. I chose this book to go along with the painting. When it came in the mail, I read it and thought it was great. It was honest and maybe not the best book for a 4 year old, but it told her life story and my niece actually loved it. It was nice to give her something other than Disney fairytales and princess like stuff.

Great Series
My students love nonfiction and they love comics- this book brings them both together. The comic book format presents the facts on Marie Curie in a fun and entertaining way, so that even students who wouldn't normally pick up a biography are more likely to read one. I plan on purchasing more books in this series.

Fun way for kids to learn about important women in science
My 7 year old daughter loves comic books and decided she wants to be a chemist, so this was perfect for her. She read it cover to cover as soon as she got it, and enjoyed it.
