Very good product!
This item works well! I really like it for punching holes if you can lay your item flat. I’m looking for things to punch, it works so easily and it’s fun!

quite handy little hole puncher
I bought this on a whim since it did not cost much money. I bought it for doing leatherworking. The reviews on it were mixed, but I figured that I would give it a fair shot (since I have discovered that the majority of amazon bad reviews are because people dont know how to use stuff properly...)This little hole puncher/cutter is not perfect, but for the price this thing is really nice. It is kind of sharp, but really does need to be touched up once you get it. It will cut holes in light-medium thickness leather with a couple plunges of the handle right out of the box, but after I spent some time sharpening and honeing the punch blades, it cuts through like butter. It also requires just a touch of oil on the shaft to make a smooth operation. I am very happy with it, because it really is handy for light leathers that I use on wallets. I can make circles and different designs on my wallets really quickly with this little thing. If you are on the fence about this, and you dont mind a bit of sharpening, buy it.

Does the job at a fraction of the price
So my professor has the same style screw punch I believe she told me she spent about $200 on it and I can’t tell any difference between that one and this one that I bought the wood handle might be a different kind of wood but it’s very sturdy does the job nicely check the beds before using them they might have a bit of grease on them from the manufacture

Useless Poor Quality Product
I purchased this punch for use in bookmaking. First, the instructions on the package are in Japanese, a language I'm unable to read. It took me a while to figure out how to change the bits. I found it very difficult to remove the bit that came with the drill from screw mechanism that holds it in place. I finally resorted to using a pliers to get the bit separated from the mechanism. The drill itself was very stiff at first and wouldn't turn when pressing down. Eventually, it loosened up a bit. I tested it on a single sheet of card stock and it worked pretty well, but did occasionally leave rough edges around the holes. My main problem was when I used it to punch holes in a book I was binding. The book covers were cardstock, the book contained 10 pages of lightweight drawing paper. It took some effort to punch the first hole, but I was able to get a clean hole. The second hole was a different story. The punch went part of the way thru the pages before it stopped. I applied a lot of pressure, thinking I wasn't pressing hard enough. I couldn't get the punch to go thru about the last 4 pages and the back cover, so I examined the tool. The opening at the blade was jammed with paper. I attempted to push the stuck paper toward the handle using a thick embroidery needle, but it was firmly wedged and could not be dislodged. I disassembled the tool and attempted to push the paper from the shaft of the bit out thru the tip. No success. I then attempted to dig out the paper using a sharp needle. Again, no success. I reassembled the tool and applied great pressure to try to finish the 2nd hole in my book. I simply cannot get the punch to go thru the additional pages. This tool is completely useless and frustrating. Not only did I waste my time attempting to get the tool to work, my book, which I spent time assembling, is now messed up because of this poor quality useless tool.

Came a bit damaged
I use these all the time with my work, so I have several. I love that this drill comes with several of the screw bits, but the handle on this particular one had the metal cap off. It slides off. I fixed it, but the quality on this one is a bit off. So, that is why I can't give it a five star.

Great for puching holes
Great little tool for making holes for snaps, rivets and the small eyelets. It is a wonderful tool for getting into tight spots. It is very sharp and I also found it will do layers with a little patience.
