Eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extender - Perfect internet
Eero 6 mesh Amazon eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extender: I used this extender with my existing Eero Router and i am so impressed. To explain my set up, I live in a terraced 3 bedroom house. My router is by the front door. I have placed my Wifi Extender at the back of the house in the kitchen/dining room. My internet is now 10/10. I genuinely cannot believe how good this thing is. My garden is 100ft and i have tested a video call at the end of the garden and it has worked perfectly. I got this in a black Friday deal but would pay full price now I know how good it is. Easy set up by opening the app and adding the extender by clicking on the + button in the top right. Plug in and go. If you need a boost to your existing Eero wifi I would highly recommend this product.

Good for Mifi
Fantastic product, started with a eero router as changed to mobile WiFi with three and the network was a bit crap, once I added eero it was so much better but still got a bit of buffering in the bedroom when streaming TV and no reception in dead spots. I added 2 more one extra router and one extender, the router in the office and the extender in the bedroom, I only live in a 1200sqft apartment so one should have been ok but found the one router alone just didn’t cover everywhere, by adding the 2 extra I have a 3 set now and so far it’s perfect not buffered once all night and my speeds have actually gone up, now I know it’s expensive but at the moment at 1/2 price it’s worth setting up your system fully. With mifi it’s relatively slow speeds anyway but eero does make the system 100% better.

Simple and effective, but lacks wired ports
The eero 6 Wi-Fi Extender was simple to set up and has provided stable broadband throughout my house. The coverage is excellent, and I’ve experienced no drops in connection since installing it. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have any wired ports for connecting devices that are not on Wi-Fi, which is a bit inconvenient if you have gadgets that require a wired connection. Overall, it's a great solution for boosting your Wi-Fi coverage, as long as you're okay with everything being wireless.

Easy add-on to our network.
We already had the Eero 6 wifi in the house, but were looking for better coverage for the garage and garden. Running a ethernet cable to another hub wasn't feasible so the extender was used instead. Very easy to set up with the Eero app, and does the job perfectly.

BRILLIANT!
This extender has made a surprising difference to my wi-fi items. i live in a flat which is on the first floor, but my front door is on the ground floor, so when my Eero system was installed, i had the hub placed at the top of the stairs, because i needed the signal to reach an outdoor camera i have by the front door. Now the only thing i was a little concerned about, was that having the hub at the top of the stairs, meant it was a good 60-70ft away from my t.v in the living room, which is effectively the far end of the flat, but it seemed ok, however, after buying a new t.v with the new Freely built into it, i started to notice that every now and again, one of the channels kept freezing for a split second, then be ok, so started to wonder if it was a wifi issue. Anyway, i bit the bullet and bought this extender to put in the living room and what a difference it`s made! I`ve had no more freezing pictures on a couple of channels and by accident, i spotted that the signal strength meter for my camera had gone from one bar in orange, to three bars in green, which is weird, because the extender is further away from the camera than the main hub is, so i don`t get that one :) Anyway, great bit of kit and really pleased with it, makes a big difference to wifi strength.

For when Virgin's Sagemcom Hub 5 (their best ever) just doesn't cut it
We recently moved house. Virgin offered the best fibre offering so I switched. They provided their Hub 5 (their best yet!). If you have over 50 devices on your network, some fixed IP, within a month the hub would stop allocating IP addresses and then something inside the unit would fail where you couldn't even plug a laptop into the back of the unit and configure it via LAN. You can imagine my thoughts when paying for their 'top of the range' solution (at quite a price). So I've decided with my 3rd replacement Hub 5 to run it in full modem mode. This turns the light green on the front, and then you need an Eero router system to take over all the IP address allocation duties for the entire network. Within 30 minutes it was set up and running, no more hassle, devices dropping off the network, good speeds. I added two extenders. At this point if you plan to do the same I suggest reading on. When I added the extenders the majority of the wifi devices remained on the primary device that was installed first. To redistribute your devices across multiple Eero devices on your network I recommend the following: Go into Eero app (this is for iPhone app): Go to settings icon on bottom right hand side of the app (cog symbol) Scroll down to option 'Network settings' Scroll down to bottom of the page and click on 'Restart Network' Scroll down to bottom of the window and hit the big blue button It takes about 60 seconds to complete but when the network reboots it redistributes devices far better (I wouldn't say 100% as there are a few strange node choices made by the system), but you'll get a far greater spread of your equipment between the devices. Its about time Eero gave users the chance to point a device as the extender / router which the user knows is logically the closest! Other than this it's all been straightforward from unboxing to using, so no complaints so far with 71 devices on the network.
