Wow!
I am very impressed with this hatchet. Sharp, strong, just enough heft. Craftsmanship is over the top. Looking at axes now, and I am gong to look at thier axe products first. Just awesome.

Solid piece of equipment
I was surprised by the quality of this hatchet. For just under $30, I was not sure how this hatchet would shape up compared to some of my nicer ones, however, I was blown away. This hatchet is a bit heavier than some of my others, which is what I was going for. The handle is a solid mix of plastic and silicone which make for better shock absorption. The head of the axe is different than any other hatchet I have and has held up quite nicely after a few uses in the field.

UPDATE - decent hatchet.
Updated review:The sheath is missing a rivet, you can see it in my original pictures, then I highlighted on my last picture. Also the head of the hatchet is twisted and not aligned with the handle. Perhaps the handle was put in twisted before the glue dried. These plus the fact the edged was rough and dented, and the glue sticking out, I don’t think it deserves 5-stars.Original Review:I like the weight and look of the hatchet. It came with glue joint a little messy, but easy to clean. It’s fairly sharp, but the cutting edge has dents and it doesn’t go all the way to the top/bottom corners of the head. For the price is good and I think it will work for my intended use.

Good for camping
This axe is very handy to have when backpacking and is holding up well. The handle length is good and it is easily attached to my molle 70L backpack.
