A+ Big Improvement
Great sight, big improvement over stock sight. Has two night illuminations, big ring and tritium . I picked the big dot for my old eyes and I am not disappointed. Defiantly a gunsmith installation unless you have a drill press and are really good with small drills. Mine charged me $35 to install mine......Worth it!

Love it
I installed this sight on a S&W model 360. I was a little concerned because I'd watched a video on youtube of an installation on a similar model and the sight didn't completely cover the sight channel on that gun. It fit perfectly on mine and looks great. It wasn't hard to install. I used a 1/16" punch to drive out the roll pin then I had to tap on the old sight with a soft hammer to break it lose. I had to gently file the sides of the protrusion on the bottom of the new sight until it fit snuggly into the sight channel. I glued the new sight in place with red loctite and let that set up for a couple of hours. With the sight in place I used a 1/16" bit to drill through the roll pin hole and through the bottom of the sight protrusion. Do this from each side of the barrel halfway through the sight into the slot/hole in the sight protrusion. I added another drop of red loctite and then re-installed the original pin with a rollpin punch. Some people recommend using a #54 bit to do the drilling - it's just slightly smaller then a 1/16" bit. Some people also caution against using a hand drill. I didn't have any issues. I do have a very secure vice with padded jaws though and wouldn't try this job without one. I really love the size, color and "glow" of this sight, it's 100% more visible day and night! The sight picture is different. The tritium dot in the middle of the sight roughly lines up with the top of the rear sight with the bottom half of the "big dot" essentially filling the rear sight and the top half protruding above it. A combat sight picture (dot on the target) works great out to about 10 yards - beyond that, start transitioning to a 6 o'clock hold. For quick, close shots with a jframe, I couldn't imagine a better front sight!
