Just as toys
The puzzles turn horribly. No corner cutting, slow turning. The do not have a good feel for speed solving. These are not for speed cubing. However they are great for simple toys to play with and to learn how to do basic beginner solves. The solution guide it comes helps you solve it, but the methods are far from the easiest or the most efficient beginner methods. Look up better directions for beginner solves on the internet.

Excellent collection of puzzles for the price
I am relatively new to speed cubing, having done it (with the standard 3x3x3 cube) for only about a year. I have been curious about similar puzzles, especially the 2x2x2 cube and the pyramid, so I picked up this collection. All of the puzzles in the kit are stickerless, which I greatly prefer over stickered puzzles because they show less signs of wear. I love the subdued (rather than highly saturated) colors that this set has; every piece looks attractive. The collection also comes with stands for each puzzle (except for the infinity cube). I used these to display the toys in my home office, which I think is fun.Hardcore puzzle fans should know that the package does not come with any tools to adjust the puzzles’ tension or anything. I think that, if you want to do those kind of things, you would want to buy your puzzles one by one instead of in a set. Here are my thoughts about each piece in the collection:2x2x2 Cube: This puzzle, probably because it is the simplest, feels the best to twist and turn.3x3x3 Cube: This cube is identical to my second-favorite cube that I already had in my collection. It turns well, corner cuts well, and does not lock up unless you really are trying to. The only drawback to it is that it does not have magnets.Pyramid: I have no idea how to solve this puzzle yet, so it is more of a fidget toy to me at present. The way it turns is very satisfying. Each piece shapes into place after each turn, which is satisfying to feel and hear.Megamin: This pentagon-based polyhedron is my least favorite of the bunch. I have no idea how to solve this puzzle yet, so it is more of a fidget toy to me at present. I find it cumbersome to hold and turn, owing to its complex shape and larger size. It locks up easily (you have to make sure the edges line up before twisting a section.Infinity cube: This appears to be a bonus toy that the seller, rather than the manufacturer, threw into the box. Its dark blue color does not match the more pleasant pale blue shade of the other toys. It is a fun fidget toy rather than a puzzle. For what it is, it’s kind of great.
