Diver's Heart

Hands down - AMAZING !!!
This has been hands down my all-time favorite book for KA Knight. Yes, even after Den of Vipers! It hooked me in right away. I really had to force my self to put it down and actually do motherly things 😂.Peyton is a diver on a new mission with her close friend, Michael. When she comes face to face with her new diving parters for this gig- she’s faced with four men she once loved fiercely but left behind.Tyler, Kalen, Fin and Riggs, all alpha, all bigger than she remembers. They see her. They hate her. They want nothing to do with her. This dive is a way for them to get back on top so they force themselves to get along.Once inside this new undiscovered cave, they quickly find out, they aren’t alone. Theirs an undiscovered species that’s slowly haunting them in the depths below. When death is at their door and all they have is each other, can they survive it!? Can they face this new “monster” that shows no signs of slowing down with uncharted caves and darkness. Can they fight all of the feelings they truly have for each other. Can Tyler, the one she left behind while on his knee, forgive her??***I flippin loved this book! It was so descriptive, it felt like I was in the depths of the cave with them, fighting along side them. The character growth with each character was amazing. We were able to see their love and knew what they all meant to her without having to constantly go back and forth. The reason was clear why she left 3 years ago to everyone but him and each time, I felt the guys sadness. The author went above and beyond to get specific details about diving, even I now feel like I could know what I’m talking about lol.I would call this a mid-burn as nothing really happened till Chapter 21. But it true KA Knight fashion, it was 💥💥💥🔥!!It ended perfectly! This book was amazing!“All you need is love. If life was easy, it wouldn’t be life”*Overall 5/5*Heat 4/5 (I found it repetitive, like they all did the same thing)*Mid-Burn*First person POV, all 5 main characters*Thrilling*Suspenseful*HEA? Yes!

Such a interesting concept!
I had seen this book here and there but every time I read the summary it didn’t pull me in, but I’m so glad I have it a shot!! The summary doesn’t do it justice, it’s super suspenseful and something I haven’t read anything else like! Literally felt my heart pounding reading it!This was a 24 hour read for me because of how interesting the book is. Cave divers? Yes please!!The reason I have it at 4 stars is because a couple of things felt repetitive and felt pretty surface level, it’s hard to see a relationship build when the relationship was built 3 years in the past and we don’t really get a glimpse of it, but still it’s great! The other reason is super petty on my end, but the word “cream” and “nectar” used so often made me wanna gag, I wish we could have used another word and the scenes were really repetitive. Still super super interesting and worth the read for sure! This is one that’ll stick with you!

Absolutely thrilling!
Absolutely amazing. This book had me in a choke hold since page one! The spice, angst, suspense and thrill had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t put it down. Definitely my top read of the year. The suspense, the thrill, the spice - it all was amazing.

Not my favorite by this author but not bad (spoilers)
-reverse harem-stand-alone-H O T-multiple POV-second chance romanceThis book revolves around Peyton, a professional diver who begins this book in love with the love of her life Tyler. But... he’s not the only love of her life. So, when Tyler gets down on one knee, she knows she can’t say yes because he’s not the only owner of her heart, and this makes her feel undeserving of him, which leads to her sailing off into the distance, leaving multiple hearts broken in her wake. Fast forward several years and she is sought out for a diving expedition that will have her exploring an unchartered cave with another team.... a team made of of the five men she left behind years ago. Cue all of the emotions of broken hearts, longing, anger, passion, self sacrifice, guilt, it’s all there. Add in some suspense and danger that literally has them running and swimming for their lives deep down in these underwater caves, and you have a very interesting story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. What I liked:- I sympathized with Peyton on why she originally left the guys years ago. Loving more than one person isn’t the “norm”, so she was struggling with her feelings knowing that Tyler didn’t know how she felt about the other guys and she felt like she was a cheating scumbag. She felt undeserving of this man who loved her with his whole heart and wanted to marry her, when she was also falling in love with his brother and best friends.- I liked all of the diving information. I am NO expert when it comes to underwater diving, so I honestly couldn’t even tell you if what the author wrote was accurate, BUT I can tell you that she made it sound super believable and it definitely seems as if she knew what she was talking about. So props on her research while writing this book or faking it until she makes it, because it sounded legit lol-I liked the suspense/horror aspect. They literally were fighting for their lives at multiple points, and I think those moments really showed us how much these characters loved each other. That even after a few years apart, they’re still a family and would literally sacrifice themselves for each other.-I really enjoyed the set up of the harem. Because the introduction of this book is already at the point of them loving each other, we don’t have to spend the whole book watching them get to know each other/fall in love. They’re already in love, always have been, even if they thought they would never see each other again. So we get to watch them come back together and work on forgiveness and deciding if they want to make their family work, all of them, not just Peyton and Tyler. All or none. What I didn’t like:-there was quite a bit of repetition in the dialogue. Almost every single sexual encounter, the men described her as “so hot, so wet, so tight”. They all slapped her clit. They all dominated. Etc etc. two of them even made the same comment about blowing their load like a virgin. I don’t mind dominating men at all, but there was no variety between the men. So, basically you could read one sex scene and it was veryyyy similar to her sex scenes with all the other guys. You couldn’t really tell them apart in the bedroom (or cave). So while I felt like we were able to distinguish the guys somewhat by the way she described them, such as Tyler was the leader, Kalen was the big and bulky brooding one, Riggs was the nerdy one who dominated in the bedroom, and Finn was the care free fun one, they did all run together at certain points and could easily be mixed up with the others. I just don’t personally think the guys personalities were super developed, but I find that happens a lot with stand-alones and reverse harems.-no discussion of birth control, pregnancy, safe sex, nothing. I’m not an idiot, people have unprotected sex all the time, BUT at some point it’s usually discussed, even if it’s AFTER the sex scenes. Not once did any of them ever think about the possibility of her getting pregnant, them getting diseases for the fact they haven’t been with each other in several years, or anything. I just expected at some point for them to at least have the thought “well if she gets pregnant she’s stuck with us now” or her have a thought about being on birth control, at least SOMETHING to mention the fact that they’re just out here screwing like bunnies with no cares in the world. That’s just my own personal pet peeve though, I’m sure it doesn’t bother a lot of readers.-now this is a doozy lol while I already mentioned that I LIKED all of the diving information, some of the scenes got a little confusing for me because I’m NOT a diver. Such as when they’re crawling across the ceiling, etc. or when they’re using certain types of equipment in the diving. I wish the author could have found a way to work in what certain things were used for when she mentioned them so I wasn’t scratching my head trying to figure it out.

Awesome read
This was such a different book but in a fabulous way. I know zero about diving but found that aspect fascinating. Their is an almost sci-fi element but not enough to turn away those of us not into it. The characters...excellent! Peyton is a fun and sassy heroine who has her dark moments too. She was young when she made an error in judge (imo) but this is often the case. The guys are all very different in personality but all are sexy, yet sweet (at times) alphas. Expect lots of suspense and heart pounding moments along with some steamy times. Awesome read

I don't know why I put of reading this for so long.
I had been putting off reading this book for months for some reason or another. Well I wanted nice standalone to read because nothing was sticking that i had tried to read so I decided to finally dive into this book. I had watched the 2005 movie The Cave (which I secretly love, don't judge it's a hidden gem!) about a week before reading this book and this book 💯% reminded me of it and it's absolutely amazing!!! When I read the description for this book my first thought was 'I'm not quite into diving enough to just read a book about it probably explaining more about diving and maybe some sharks' but I'm glad I was so wrong. I love my RH or why choose books because come on I always wants more options in books so that had me halfway sold on this book. The other half that sold me for this book was all the feels I got from it heartbreak, love, suspense, mystery and sadness. It's been quite a while since any book made my eyes water a little and this one did it. This will officially be a re-read for me often now.

Bestes Buch dieses Jahr
Ich lese oft und viel, aber allein das es ums tauchen geht hat mich von Anfang an begeistert. Auch die Story um alle Charaktere und Beziehungen war super und spannend und nie langatmig oder flach.Made my book year!

Amazing story
Payton walked away from her family and her love 4 years ago. Now, she is the best diver in business and during a job she comes face to face with her past, her family. The story is romantic, steamy, angsty, intense, adventurous and thrilling. It is a reverse harem romance novel full of angst and thrill. The story is enthralling and will put the readers through a roller coaster ride with the chase. A highly recommended book for readers who like this genre.Personal Take:I thought this book will be a simple, reverse harem romance novel but it turned out to be a roller coaster. I loved Peyton, she was a badass throughout the book. This book was different and stirring.
