Love the nostalgia, but they don't have a slot for Canadian Loonies / Toonies. Purchased for a friend but if they come out with those features I would buy again.

I first saw these as a young kid on the Chicago public transit buses. The passenger would pay the driver the fare as they boarded the bus and the driver was wearing one of these dispensers on his belt to make change for the passengers as needed. Even then I remember thinking it was cool. When I saw this dispenser I couldn't resist. The chances to get one may be running out. I mean, how much longer will we even be using coins anyway? The operation of this coin dispenser is great. The levers to dispense each denomination of coin are pushed down with the thumb while holding the palm under the coin cylinder to catch the coin. The levers have tight springs and the dispensing arm swings out one, and only one, coin every time without fail. It is solidly built and feels like it will last a long time. I keep it in the car and put coins in it instead of the ashtray which is so deep it takes a lot of manual dexterity to get the coins out. The dispenser is a much better way to go and is handy for tolls if you don't have the electronic toll pass. Otherwise it is just a handy way to organize coins and it holds a lot of them. I have not calculated, but if you filled each coin cylinder full, it would be a fair amount of money. I have not tried wearing it on a belt so I can't comment on that, although the belt clip seems like it would allow the dispenser a lot of movement. For my uses it is great so I gave it 5 stars.

I work at sonic as a skating carhop and we use these changers at work to create change efficiently for our customers. The one that sonic owns was getting old and the buttons were sticking so I came to amazon to buy my own changer that I could bring home every day instead of leave at sonic to get gross and dirty. Needless to say, I skate around for 8-10 hour shifts and this bad boy never falls off, never drops coins randomly, and never fails to release a coin when a button is pressed. It is made of top quality and I got mine for $18 and prime (2 day) shipping. I would recommend this to individuals and to store managers looking to replace old changers. This brand is reliable and top quality. I’ll be using it for a long long time. Updates will come if I ever have problems with it. 8/29/18
