Great starter kit, but lacks important docs and LCD doesn't work
This kit is far easier than reading the book first to know what parts to get and then looking for individual parts. But it left me wanting in a few areas:* More M2M wires required. One project ("puffin crossing traffic light system") called for one more wire than the kit included. We made up for this by changing the project to require fewer wires. While you can workaround it, more wires would be good.* Docs on wiring up the motion detector (HC-SR501 PIR sensor) are absent. The book talks about the importance of wiring it up correctly and to check docs on the sensor, but this kit doesn't come with any.* The LCD display doesn't work. A small sheet of paper says it is "slightly different from what's being used in the book" and refers you to a github repo to use that code instead. But that doesn't work either.* The potentiometers don't fit into the breadboard directly (without jamming it in, perhaps), and the M2F wires don't grasp onto its leads either, leaving a very delicate system you can hardly touch without messing with the connection and tainting the result of your alteration to the knob.* The resistors use 5 color bars to indicate their R value instead of the 4 bars described in the book so a beginner like me would not know how to read them. Also, their dark-blue background color makes it hard to tell orange bars from brown or even black bars.

Breadboard is difficult to use
Got the product. The breadboard came with the product is a junk. Not able to plug the raspberry pi pic into the breadboard. Tried my own other breadboards, worked fine. Have not checked all other components yet.I returned the package I got last week and received a new one today. The breadboard is still not very good. It’s very hard to plug the raspberry pick module into the board properly, but finally I managed to plug the module in. I am wondering whether other people observed the same breadboard issue as I had. The rest works fine. You need to use a different program on GitHub for the display.

Fun, educational, and a good value
I'm pretty happy with it. That the LCD screen is so different from what's in the Pico book is the biggest problem; following through UCTRONICS' directions leads you to download a whole library from a GitHub repo to use it, whereas the instructions for working with the screen in the book don't require a separate library and are far simpler. It would have been nice if they had been able to include a screen which more closely aligned with what's in the book. As another minor nitpick, the packing kit shows that a spare set of full-size headers should be in the kit, but they are not; it also shows that the kit only comes with one potentiometer instead of two, though - the image on this Amazon listing is more accurate than the packing list that actually comes in the box. But all that aside, there's more than enough stuff in here to do all of the other projects in the book as well as whatever more complex ones you might eventually come up with. As an experienced software developer I've been looking into learning more about microcontroller stuff for a while, and this kit plus the Foundation's book made it relatively painless and cheap.

If you are new to electronics projects, buy this kit
This has literally everything you could need to follow the projects in the "Get started with MicroPython on Raspberry Pi Pico" book. It's a great starter set when you are done to develop your own circuits and projects. Well done UCTRONICS!My only complaint: the latch on the case doesn't work, but I solved that with a rubber band around it.

Finally A Starter Kit
Been looking all week for a bundle like this with everything the book recommended, and after having 3 carts from 3 sites ready to hit buy I stumbled upon this on Amazon. It's got literally everything, and the price isn't too bad either. The only downside is that this wasn't listed back when I started buying piece by piece, but the investment on those parts was negligible anyways.
