I bought this to implement a fun educational card game into family time. One time we played during dinner (which was a treat) and now my son asks every dinner if we can play the game. He LOVES it.

I have all versions of splat. I use these in my classroom for my first and second great student. My students have improved their fluency with this game! They cheer anytime they get to play this game.

I have purchased just about all of the games in this series and love them for my students who like them as well. My only problem with this set is these are not really made for kindergarten. If they were CVC words for that group with would be wonderful. I would recommend this for 1-3 grade even the easiest deck is not Kindergarten friendly the words are above their level of independent reading. Over all another nice concept to be played with stronger readers. Looking forward to new categories of this game. A+. The cards are very sturdy for little hands to to use over and over...

I use this game as a center for my beginning readers and the love it! There are different levels, so the game can be used to build basic phonics and fundamental skills for learning to read. This game helps students build confidence.

These are a must have for all you teachers. This is an easy way to incorporate sight words into your lessons. Students absolutely love playing splat and there are so many variations. You really need to check this one out.

I bought this for my granddaughter. My daughter tells me that my granddaughter enjoys using it and that it's been helpful in her learning to spell and read.
