Is the grinding bowl removable?

The Black & Decker container does not remove from the unit. In addition the electric cord kept falling out of the bottom. I purchased the Hamilton Beach model. This is great. the grinding tub removes for transferring the coffee and cleaning purposes. We also bought an extra tub so we can grind spices, a mini-food processor.

how much cup of beans?

Usually one scoop of ground coffee will do 4 cups of brewed coffee. I brew a pot every day. Fill the grinder with 2 loads of beans. That will last 2 or 3 days. Any more is more than intended.

Can you adjust the grind from fine to course?

There is no coarse or fine switch. If you grind for about 25-30 seconds it will be a fine grind, but do not exceed 30 seconds. A normal grind for me is about 12-15 seconds.
