Limited Run Indigo Prophecy PS4

Back of box was partially torn off and the artwork appears smashed, and then hurriedly replaced back in the case. Claimed to be new.

Work great on Playstation 4. Good game.

I vaguely remembered playing this game on PS2 years ago so when I saw it remastered for the PS4 I decided to download it. First the good -the story is engaging. It's original and it's interesting to alternate as the perp and the cops. The game still has PS2 graphics, they are cleaned up a tiny bit but barely. It isn't a remake so I can overlook that. Now the bad - the game is all QTEs which is fine except they do not work well AT ALL. This was an issue with the original game as well but now they are even worse. In some cases, you cannot even see what you are supposed to be doing because the QTE display is so poor. The QTEs require your full attention so you miss what is happening in the game. There are sections where the QTE events are so long it's absurd. Worse, the controls are so poor the movements often don't register. Also, there are sections of the game where the audio pops or drops out completely. They made zero effort to improve this game. The price of the disc version is absurd. Many other PS2 games have been ported to the PS4 and turned out just fine. If anything, it seems the controls are worse than the original. This is just a lazy money-grab. If you are nostalgic and want to play this game on the PS4, download it when it's under $5 because it is not worth even that.
