Bahco 33 H US Adjustable Wrench with Valve Persuader

Great tool

I have been lusting after one of these for quite some time. After working 40 hours of overtime I decided to treat myself. These are a little expensive but they are well worth it. I work with anhydrous ammonia refrigeration and high pressure steam systems for a global food manufacturing company. I am always looking for tools to make my job easier and more enjoyable. This wrench is absolutely beautiful. The forging is first class. The fit of the movable jaw is without equal, sliding effortlessly without any wiggle. The only very minor concern I had was the edges of the jaws were are very sharp. I would recommend softening the edges a little with a stone of some emery. I highly, highly recommend this tool. It is perfect.

I work at a small gas plant and this thing comes in handy a lot. A year or so back then boss bought everyone some 12” crescents with a valve wrench on the back end and they worked great, but they only opened up to a half inch. When I finally found one that was wide enough for our 1” plugs I jumped on it. Beats carrying around two wrenches! Only complaint is that it’s a bit stumpy, it would be nice to have a little extra leverage for the stubborn nuts and plugs around the plant.

Small handled steam valves and condensate lines that are not often opened or closed can be tough to move. If the valve is below a grating you might need the adjustable wrench to get loosen the grating holder to get to the valve. If you have a small area to move this small valve wrench is helpful too. You can also use the adjustable wrench to tighten nuts on ball valve handle stems too. Sure, you might have adjustable pliers, but if not the wrench is handy.

We love these. Have purchased over 60 of them. Have been using these for three years now. Started out buying one for myself and everyone was always trying to walk off with it. The jaws accommodate 1 13/16”, most other wrenches that are only 10” on length can barley handle 1” opening. The valve operator on the other side comes in handle all day long.

Awesome combo wrench, I use it every day. Do not regret buying it. Recommend it to everyone that has to deal with valves and valve handles.

The wrench is extremely valuable in my line of work. Keep it locked up or you’ll continue to buy them for your coworkers.
