Great cable
I recently upgraded my home HF station from a random wire to an MFJ 1788 STL antenna. My living situation necessitates an all-indoor antenna farm, with the loop positioned about 60 feet from the shack. Between the distance, wanting to squeeze every bit of performance from the 1788's less-efficient lower bands (30/40m), and the need to slink the cable around corners (physical flexibility required), I opted to upgrade from rg-58 to rg-213 cabling. The results with this cable are excellent.

Very rugged cable
Super thick and rugged cable. Double shielding definitely helped reduce the alternator noise. Also noticed increased receiver sensitivity on my CRE8900 coupled with a 5-foot Firestik 2 FS5 antenna placed in back of my 3rd gen 4Runner via drifter mount. SWR remains unaffected @ 1.2:1 midband and 1.3:1 at the edges. A bit on the expensive side but would definitely buy again.

Impressive Coax Assembly
Robust and well made coax jumper, I’m impressed by the material and workmanship of this product, great price also. I’m an amateur radio operator and this product fits the bill perfect for my applications.

superior construction .
I purchased this for my ham shack . Upon inspection I noticed it was constructed of the best materials. Only one of the selling points was it was NOT made in China. The Pl-259s were constructed well and with the added wire weather protection . Well its a winning combination . low loss, easy to work with . A superior product from the U.S. A. Thanks many times over.

High Quality Coax
I needed a shorter piece of coax to go between my rig and tuner and I was away from home on a trip so I couldn't make something myself. This short jumper worked perfectly and is of high quality. Shipping was quick and I was on the air in minutes after it arrived.

Well finished cable - as expected
When I ordered this cable, I took specific care to order from MPD because I know I can expect great quality and attentive service if needed. This order was nothing unexpected. Will gladly look up this vendor again as needed.

Ham radio jumpers
Using these as jumpers in my ham radio shack, RG213U is just as thick as LMR400, just more flexible. The end connectors are crimped, and with significant pull (which some new PL259's cause), the connectors came loose, but I was able to slide it back on luckily. You may want to crimp further or solder if possible.

Well made.
Looks to be a very well made. RG213/U is a pretty big and heavy cable. Looks similar to 8/U. Wire is Consolidated brand. Looking to eventually replace most all my 8x with this type.
