Half the price of AutoZone
Great value! These are genuine Motorcraft OEM. AutoZone wanted over 60 dollars for one, these are half the price. These ignition coils went into my 2010 Ford Fusion I4 2.5L.I highly recommend replacing all of these at once, I had 3 out of 4 go out within two weeks of each other.Replacement is a breeze.2.5L Duratec:Read all steps thoroughly before starting.Warning: I'm not personally responsible for undesired results due to these instructions.Set parking brake, chock tires, prop hood.Remove the negative battery terminal. The ignition coils are located in the center of the valve cover.Depress the clip on the end of the wiring connector on the ignition coil and gently remove.Remove the single mounting bolt from the ignition coil with an 8mm socket.Remove the ignition coil and boot with a gentle twisting and pulling motion.Inspect the spark plug cavity. If it is flooded with engine oil, remove with shop rags. Keep cleaning the area until ALL oil is removed. It is recommended to use dielectric grease on the end of the boot that fits over the spark plug. This is to prevent damage to the boot in case it needs to be removed later.Install the new coil and boot, twist while gently pushing into place. Be sure to line up the mounting hole.Use medium strength thread locker on the mounting bolt, tighten and torque to 53in lbs. The medium strength thread locker will keep the mounting bolt from vibrating loose.Reconnect the wiring harness.Repeat these steps for multiple coils. Cylinder order is 1-2-3-4 from passenger side to driver side.Reconnect negative battery terminal, torque to 44in lbs.Caution: Vehicles equipped with dual climate control will go through a self calibration test the first time the ignition is turned on after the battery terminal is reconnected. Turn the key to the on position (do not start) and wait 3 minutes before using the HVAC.Failing to let the vehicle self calibrate will result in hot air blowing out the passenger side regardless of temperature settings. If this happens to you simply disconnect the negative battery cable and reconnect after 5 minutes. Remember to torque to 44in lbs.Connect an OBD2 reader to the vehicle, the plug is located in a small compartment just below the steering wheel. Erase DTCs.Disconnect OBD2 reader.Start engine. Verify car idle is smooth and engine light shuts off after a few seconds.I hope someone finds this useful.

Ignition works much better now
Fit the car just fine, then had a different check engine light and replaced one of these with the shops's coil only to find out later the problem was with another part. I want to say that these are just fine and should fix your ignition coil issues.I replaced all the spark plugs and all coils at the same time.

Genuine OEM Motorcraft
It has all the markings expected of an OEM Motorcraft part and is identical to the original ignition coil that came with my car. Fit perfectly, I would recommend buying from Amazon and not from another retailer.

Authentic
Ordered 3 from Summit for almost double the price and 1 from here. They are the exact same and all came in Motorcraft packaging. Kept getting random misfires only when it was hot outside and the old coils looked great and tested good on a meter. I read that the coils can act up with engine heat and outside heat and sure enough, no more misfires.

Always Motorcraft for Electrical
Like others, I have learned what seems like a good deal for aftermarket parts often is not a good deal. These immediately increased mileage 5-10% and gave no trouble codes. They took 15 minutes to replace all four in my Ford Fusion. Easy breezy.
