Pricy, but it is a smart product. The wide range of batteries it supports and clear lights make this easy to use without making a mistake. If you have vehicles using multiple battery types like one SLA the other Lithium. Interchange is easy and safe. The cord is very long and it comes with 2 attachment methods and an SAE plug you can direct connect to a battery giving an easy pigtail charging connection. All in all, this is a great tool if you aren't using your equipment at least weekly. If only it could recharge stale gas too.

I keep all of my power equipment and toys on battery tenders and usually buy the cheaper ones which work great. I wanted a better one to use on my CanAm Ryker and to occasionally analyze and fix batteries in my John Deere mower, truck, etc. so I bought this model. It works great and fully automatic. Just plug it into a battery and walk away. It has lond enough cords that I don't have to use an extension and is fairly priced.

Great charger. Just plug in and walk away. The charger recognizes the type of battery and sets itself.

Great little device. Bought this maintainer for my M I L's car. Doesn't drive it much and since switching to A/S milewise car insurance, dead batteries are the new reality. Contrary to what the insurance co says, the obd2 device does draw more current. Not much but enough to create a no start situation in 4 or 5 weeks versus 3 months. I've checked her car with a very accurate ammeter, 17ma key off drain wo the device and 45ma with the device plugged in. Not quite 3x the current drain. The cost of this device was a lot less than switching her car insurance. The vast majority of people with those devices would never be aware of the increased current draw since they drive them frequently enough that a no start simply wouldn't happen. All the ins co tells you is take it to a mechanic. WTH, I am a mechanic. Very satisfied with the purchase and so is my M I L. Disconnecting the 2 alligator clips was not a big deal for her at all and then closing the hood. I would reconnect the charger the next time I was at her house. Highly recommended for anyone with a similar situation.

I have a Full Spectrum lithium ion battery on my M109 cruiser. This is the ONLY charger I trust to keep it tendered during the winter season. It is one of the most advanced chargers for Lithium Ion batteries and I bought two of these after seeing one of these TecMate chargers literally bring a dead battery back to life. A lot of technology goes into this little charger making it well worth the cost.

This has been an excellent battery tender for years. I use it to keep our jet skis charged over the winter, and the quick connect system is very nice. I bought a second one, so I do not have to lug it back and forth to our vacation home.

Well packaged, manual included, but no invoice to use as proof of warranty if needed. I plugged the Optimate chords into the batteries on 2 separate bikes. Lights on Optimate working properly, and piece of mind that the Optimate will not overcharge, just maintain the batteries. Perfect ! My older ones didn’t do that. I recommend this product based on my experience
