The watch is not bad, but it has old firmware and updates are very poor and rare.

A thing of beauty
I have been using Suunto watches for 4 years now, there very good if you have never tried one. This model is a real delight to have on, its something else and I feel proud to wear it. Slim, expensive looking and light. The battery is extraordinary and its easy to operate although I was already used to the Suunto style of operation. Easy to read and operate screen. I am a fan of the software, I far prefer it to Polar for instance. Great for comparing previous runs on the same and similar routes, route planning and plotting. As far as the durability and robustness of the watch I am afraid I only use it for standard long distance running so I cannot comment on its suitability for mountain climbing or skiing I am afraid Is it worth the money, of course not but then neither is a Porsche

Not hypoallergenic as claimed.
So frustrated that this watch is marketed as hypoallergenic. After 3 months of use, I'm guessing some sort of coating has worn off, exposing allergens to my skin and leading to itchy rashes and what feel like burns. I've never had a reaction to silicone or titanium watches previously I'm gutted I now have a £600 paperweight. Suunto's advice was 'stop use immediately and consult a doctor'.

Bit disappointed
Got the Suunto 9 peak mainly for its navigation and as a heart rate monitor when running. The nav is pretty good only dropping out when in deep valleys. The heart rate monitor is way too high when running but ok when at rest. Found the rather elegant strap would come partly undone as the tail would catch on my pack when running. Solved by using the longer strap that has the tail where it does not catch. It's a nice-looking, neat watch but heart rate is one of the main functions of a smartwatch and is pretty much useless. The Pulse oximeter function is also useless but found this to be the case with other brands as well.

Gorgeous sports watch
I love the aesthetic of this. The rounded designed and emphasis on curves and gentle lighting and colours in the display gives a naturalised display far removed from techi blockiness that many such pieces of wearable tech have. The menus are intuitive and easy to navigate, and a combined touch screen with button control gives you different ways to move around. An impressive range of exercise types is covered, including of course running but also weight training, swimming, different kinds of running like trail running, and more. It'll also keep track of your daily steps and monitor your sleep. And it's very comfortable to wear. Comes with its own usb charger. Battery life will give you no complaints at all. It will sync with a wide range of platforms including Strava. In conclusion, all you want from a sports watch and more.

Thne watch Strap is too short
After getting the watch the strap is just 1cm too short for my wrist. I contacted Suunto to see about getting a longer strap they only make S+M in silicon for this watch. If I want a linger strap I have to get one that is textile and they only have 1 type. Not even a variety of colours. Absolutely appalling foresight. I like to wear my watches a little loose. Especially when running. So now I have to send the watch back so that I can get a brand that actually have longer straps. It's actually very disappointing I really like the watch and it's features. Fortunately there are loads of options out there

Suunto Peak Pro 9 impressed me with its exceptional lightness, making it comfortable for all-day wear. The robust and responsive buttons allow for easy operation even during activity, while the clear and readable watch face ensures quick data visibility at any time. Ideal for sports and everyday use.

Esteticamente accattivante.
