Amazing lumbar back brace.
I have been experiencing severe pain 24/7 for nearly seven months from sciatica. I have known about degenerative disc issues in my L4-L5 disc since 2017 from MRI's at that time which revealed rupture indicated by a Schmorl's Node (Radiologist's term). I have worn a supportive brace to minimize motion, but that brace no longer worked a I developed a Foot Drop on my left leg.Chronic pain is no fun. I received this new "decompression" brace this morning about 4:25 AM. Kudos to Amazon for lighning fast shipping as I only ordered this brace last night!Short story long, I put on this brace per instructions enclosed in box and inflated it to "maximum pressure". After 2 hours wearing time I noticed a gradual fading-away of the sciatica pain in my left leg! At this writing, 12:13 PM, the chronic horiffic pain of sciatica is gone! Not just diminished....but gone!!! I did not believe this was going to work being a skeptic. Because of my desperation and wanting to avoid heavy duty narcotic pain medications and laminectomy type surgery (which likely remains my future) I bought this product.I cannot explain why after seven months of pain this brace has made this difference, but it has. Without additional MRI's of my lumbar spine no conclusions can be drawn. My story is annecdotal and one unique experience for me personally. I cannot guarantee anyone else trying this product will have a similar experience. I have no financial or business interest in this product and I am sharing my experience only as one positive review for others to read.

This back brace really works to relieve pain
I recently bought this brace to help with my lower back pain and it is truly amazing. I crushed L 4-5 20 years ago and last year fractured L 2. I have a lot of lower back pain and work our daily to help relieve my back problems. I am 49 but never want to slow down. I golf twice a week and during the summer wakeboard and surf almost daily. All this activity is what i love doing but my back would be so sore i could hardly stand up the next day or even that night. I have 3 other back braces which offer support but nothing works like this brace.I was skeptical of buying another brace but thought why not. You can actually feel the relief as you pump this thing up. I have only had this brace for two weeks but feel so much better from wearing this brace. I use it for about an hour when i first get up and then again before i go to sleep. If needed i will put it on during the day just for the relief.Yes, I saw the ads on Facebook and read the reviews on amazon and was skeptical just like you may be, don't be. Save your back and buy it now, you will not regret this purchase is you have lower back issues.I am looking forward to October/November so I can see how it works for those long days in a tree stand. Any hunter with back issues knows how fun 4 plus hours can be sitting in a tree but i think this year may be different.

A great product with a terrible design flaw
There are times when I wanted to give this a 5-star rating and at other times a 3-star rating so I settled on 4 stars and here's why.So this product works beautifully until the pin in the air valve unwinds (see pics) - and if you do not pay attention, the air valve pin can fall out completely. Luckily, I was able to retrieve the pin TWICE (once under the bed where I did a hand swipe while looking for something else and once when I was doing yard work including washing the walkway where I saw it between my feet - Sorry for my dirty hands in the pics).Because the pin screws in, it will inevitably unscrew because of the air pressure from the inside. First you'll notice leakage and then if you don't take notice, the pin will fall out.Instead of that key-looking thing to release the pressure, the manufacturer should have included a cap to secure the pin inside. I'm going to now coat the thread with a thin coat of silicone on the thread and see if that holds. With all that air pressure pushing the air valve pin up the thread it should have had a locking mechanism and this is the design flaw.I see that people blame the air pump but I believe that the air pump is fine.I screwed the pin back in with my hands until I couldn't anymore and then I turned the flexible hose in front while holding the pin with needle-nosed pliers and releasing the hose so that the pin screwed in more deeply. I did this several times until I heard a very, very light click (you better have great hearing to discern). But as I wrote, it holds for a little while and then loosens, so you have to keep re-threading the air valve pin.As I mentioned, I will try a very light coating of silicone/glue on the thread and hope for the best. (For the glue/silicone coating, let set for 24 hours otherwise air pressure will weaken the glue/silicone. And make sure you don't overcoat lest you clog the hole from the inside.

I'm guessing, 40 inch waist or less other wise useless
If you don't have a 40 inch or less waist, it's useless. I bought it for my back, never got to try it.

2nd one
This is my second one in five years.. So it is a good product. I have severe back pain and it helps to put it on to prevent any additional pain.

Feels good but…
First, there is no way this belt does what it says it does which is supposedly to spread your vertebrae or put traction on them. Yes the belt lifts, but at most it’s lifting your skin in an upward direction. You’d get way more traction from laying flat with a rolled towel under your lumbar area. That said, rather than decompression (as advertised) it’s more like compression. The pressure does feel good. Not sure it’s pain alleviating but time will tell. If you put it over your clothes it will just lift them. Put it under, in contact with your skin.

This belt works well and helped relieve my pain until air valve fell out
This belt works well and helped relieve my pain. I would definitely recommend it! Good quality and well made but the air valve fell out so it no longer works.
