Slim, good build quality
I use micro-SSD cards a lot to transport my music around, but my current laptop and desktop didn't come with a built-in card reader, hence this purchase. I didn't need a "hub" with lots of other ports, or pass-through power capability, just something small that I could easily carry around with me. This fits the bill: the cable is a good strong weave, but is short so it will always sit close to your computer. If not using a laptop, it might be an issue on desktop computers, i.e., it will be dangling from the socket. Read speeds are fine. The casing is good, it looks quality and is strong. The unit itself is very slim and can easily slip inside a pocket with minimal bulking. It also works will for in-car audio if you want to use it for that purpose (as I do).

Just plug into your computer insert the SD card and up it comes on the screen especially of you don't have a dedicated card insert port this does the job good well worth the money for sure

Works great with my MacBook
I got this for downloading photos from my camera and dashcam to my MacBook. The speed is great and the USB C connection means I don’t have to hunt around for a dongle anymore.
