Great for the little ones fun and educational,finds are a little fragile.

My son is really into Horrible Histories and Ancient Egypt so this was a great find. He could not wait to start chipping away at the stone pyramid. It creates a lot of excitement for the treasures buried and he was able to keep referring to the treasure book provided to tell him about each find. It has kept him entertained for hours!! Does create quite a lot of debris & dust but we just used a very large tray. Highly recommend.

My 8 year old granddaughter loved this as a Christmas present. She spent a long time excavatung the items using the tools provided. Came back to it later to find more 'treasures' Still more to find! A useful tip... We placed it in an old baking tin. No mess then from dust.

Brought this for my 4 year old nephew, a lot of reviews were saying how quickly (30minutes) the activity was for their 6 year olds so I figured he would enjoy it and it might last a bit longer. Well 1 1/2 months laater we are about half way through and his parents have resorted to helping him out. I’ve had a go and found it quite hard work getting things out. The brush is quite effective and satisfying to use but the stick and hammer provided don’t seem very effective. My nephew is very interested in learning about the buried objects and really enjoys finding them, several of them have broken in places on their way out- the crows feet snapped off, the spinx’s head from its body etc. but otherwise a lot of fun, good learning and a successful present. I would buy again.

I bought this for my Egypt mad nephew. I thought it was a little small at first but I soon realised that it takes time to excavate. The artifacts are excellent quality and has been so much fun for my nephew to discover. The only thing I can suggest to improve, would be a QR code with an associated website or app available to expand on the history of Egypt and the artifacts. That would take it to another level and be even more exciting! 😁

Really interesting for him ,,not an easy one to get the pieces out but a joy to do

The coin was missing. I melted the whole thing in water and it was nowhere to be found. Bastet and Anubis had a broken ear and the scarabs legs were off. Probably not quality enough for a dig kit.

Kid loved it. Treasures inside had more of a treasury - than plasticy - feel than we’ve had with similar products. He‘s created a little museum to display them and gives tours. Has kept him busy for hours even post-excavation.
