I started out with a two pack of Sengled Bluetooth bulbs that we're just over $20 (can't believe what we are paying for light bulbs). The most frustrating issue was that the bulbs seemed to be connecting to multiple Alexa dots around our house and then wouldn't respond to the device in the room the actual bulbs were in. It also may have struggled with Comcast WiFi pods. These use the same router name, but appear to be different connections (IP addresses). Whatever the cause, these bulbs did not work for us at all.Decided to try this 4 pack for about that same price point. Follow the instructions! Download their app, find and connect the bulbs. Then realize there's a fun AUDIO option you can turn on. Sounds adjust the colors based on pitch. Voice and music alike. These will come in handy for get togethers. One note, they're not quite as bright as the previous bulbs. They're not our only light source in there, so not a big deal.Most importantly, once connected in the app, open the Alexa app, allow the connection to the 3rd party app when adding new bulbs, and in minutes I had named the bulbs and could control with my voice. FINALLY! We pay for this type of bulb because the fan and light are on the same line in the bathroom and they are connected to a switch that has both humidity sensors and motion detection. Sometimes the lights come on in the middle of the night even if we covered the sensor. So now we can just say "Alexa, bathroom lights off". Done. The fan continues to run, but this is actually a feature we love. After a shower and when done in the bathroom, we can turn off the lights and keep the fan running! You can also control the dimming with voice AND the colors. Not upset at all. Thank you for offering a useful product!

Pros: Color Vibrancy, life span, energy efficiency, app UI is clean, price pointCons: set upThere's a bit of a learning curve with installment, but its pretty painless. If you pair them through WiFi, it doesn't disconnect when you leave the area, but this process is a bit more tedious. Connecting via bluetooth is easier, but they disconnect when you leave the area. You will never have to repair the bluetooth after that first time, but it might take a few seconds to find the signal to pair. This seems like an issue, but if you're okay with waiting 3 seconds, it wont impact you at all.The only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the connecting process. Its doable and simple, but it does require a little bit of intuition on the part of the user.

I wasn’t sure how these lights were going to turn out since they are no “Phillips hue”. However, I’m quite impressed. These lightbulbs are just as good as their contenders! We bought them specifically for Halloween and Christmas lighting. We placed these inside the glass lanterns and picked the color green. Makes the house pop out so much more now. We also put a green lightbulb in her house to shine through our sky window and man does that look awesome.

Definitely worth the buy I have them all over the house. Can control them from your phone anywhere even away from home. You can link them to music and they light up to the music.

I really wanted to love these. They were easy (enough) to install, I had to download the lightbulb app and then also integrate them through Alexa app.Pros:The white and yellow-white colors are absolutely brilliant, VERY bright. I usually have them around 50% or lower.You are able to program them with so many options. I have them automated to turn red around 4am when I wake up, then white at a later time of the day when I’m working.The music beat setting is so awesome and fun to mess around with!Cons:They are inconsistent with either the wifi or Alexa. Alexa does not seem to know what to do with them sometimes.Sometimes I can’t get them to turn on at all.If you turn off the light switch, they do tend to take a while to reconnect to the apps and for Alexa to recognize them.Overall, I like them but I’m going to return them if they do not become more consistent in the near future.

I bought these bulbs when I moved into my new house in August of 2021 and they had been great. The app it works with, Magic Home, is quite janky. no real troubleshooting tips if there's an issue like the one I had. I like that you can program them with alexa so they can be on when I come home at night or I can ask her to turn them off for me if I forget.What I don't like is that now, after over a year, the lights have a mind of their own! They all turned on at 5am, waking me up and when I tried to turn them back off, they just turn themselves right back on! AND NOW THEY'RE BLINKING! I can't even really use them as regular bulbs because they just strobe.Ive tried removing them and re-adding them to the wifi, restarting the bulbs, and there's nothing that helps. Theres no information online to be able to helpm The bulbs are LED and supposed to last well over a year but due to whatever reason, I'll have to buy a new set. I will not be purchasing these again and buying something that has some quality and hopefully less issues
