This item would be five stars even at a slightly higher price . It is an exact copy of the OtterBox defender and is probably made from the same manufacture templates. Others have complained that it’s loose fitting and that they did not know how to install the phone or complained about the included plastic screen protector . First of all the plastic screen protector is easily removed with an X-acto knife and is simply held in place by rubber cement . This fits perfectly with a tempered glass screen protector and the outer cover is soft rubber and is not loose at all . Others have complained about the buttons being hard to push and there is no problem with them either although please remember any case like this will require slightly more pressure but it is certainly not painful or aggravating . Except for the Otterbox logo missing from the reverse nobody would know this is not an Otterbox. This is a great value for the price

Love this case!! If you are familiar on how to apply a case like this to a smart phone it should be fairly simple....but I can see how it might be a little frustrating if you have not done this. I ordered one similar to this for my iPad and it took a little bit to figure it out. This is a great case and definitely a steal for the price. It’s very durable and my 4 year old iPhone looks brand new now. All the outlets are lined up where they should be and I have no problem using the touchscreen with the plastic cover like others mentioned. Wish I would have purchased it sooner. If you don’t like the extra clear plastic cover over the face you don’t have to use an exacto knife to remove it (like another reviewer mentioned) as it will easily pop right out with your fingers.

This case certainly did its job of protecting my phone but my only drawback was that it has a thin plastic screen over the front part of the case (so as to protect your screen). However, since I had a tempered glass screen protector, all it did was make it a lot more difficult to type considering I had to use more pressure. I also didn't love the feel as much as my OtterBox but that's understandable; it's a little bulky and block-y but the rounded corners help shape it out a bit. The rubber part is the outside and the inside is made of thinner, cheaper plastic which I did not like as much but it certainly held up and did it's job. This case is certainly a bargain for those looking for a simple, cheap, protective case. While I have switched back to OtterBox, this one remains as my immediate backup.

This is one thick case for my phone! I feel like I’m holding a tablet now it’s packed all around with extra thick layers of padding and shock resistance! Plus the plastic that goes over the screen is sensitive enough to penetrate the Mets still! It’s amazing! I doubt it’s going to fit in my back pocket but its perfect for keeping my phone safe from my clumbsy hands! Yes!!

Not a bad case, especially for the money, but it didn't come with any instructions at all. Also, the flaps covering the mute switch and the charge port are stiff enough that it makes accessing those areas difficult. I do believe it protects the phone well. You'll have to remove a little separate clear piece of plastic to be able to access your fingerprint scanner too.

Kind of hard to find the power cord spot, and you need to fully open the headphone flap in order to be able to push it all the way in. Otherwise it makes the phone pretty indestructible. Our 4 year old son has this old phone of my husband's for games and watching videos on car rides. Its been dropped, stepped on, etc. Not even a knick yet.

My husband liked the color. I had chosen 3 different vendors that I thought would be good ones for him. He picked this because he liked the color. When it arrived, there were no instructions, so I went onto the Amazon website and looked at the photos to the left of the description. There is a video which I looked at. It gave good information, but it goes fast, so I had to keep backing it up to look again and again. We did finally get the case on the phone and he loves it. It fits the iPhone 6s perfectly. I gave it 4 stars for durability because I'm not sure. It's new. No rating on the finger print reader, because his phone doesn't use it. It does have the on button there though and it works great.

The frame under the top speaker broke on the first day - maybe for having it in the pocket. It was very hard to put apart to put the phone inside. No instructions came with the case. The screen protector is made of a very flimsy plastic that came apart as I was assembling the case - which I did not mind because I have glass protection on the screen. The material of the case itself also looks really cheap. I will look for something else.

This is a great cheaper alternative to the Otterbox. Yes, the buttons are a little stiff, but I’m sure they’ll soften up with time. Also, the built in plastic cover is a nuisance. I took it off and just put a tempered glass screen protector on the phone. Looks and feels way better this way. The main purpose for getting this case was to protect the phone from drops and it’s done a great job so far. I found it hard to find cases like this for an older iPhone model. Really glad I found this. Definitely recommend this case for fellow accident-prone iPhone droppers!

& much cheaper too. My OtterBox Defender for my Iphone 6s, a rubber cover broke off, so I needed a new one. I did not want to pay for a tank of gas so I purchased this item. I'm incredibly happy with it. There's always room for improvement, but I really don't see much which will improve this product. It fits the phone like a glove, much better than the OtterBox, but also the packaging is much better than the OtterBox packaging, more environmentally friendly which is ironic, because the OtterBox uses the animal, the otter, apart of it's logo. This is a great product!

I bought this some time ago. The case has a built in screen cover, which after a couple months i ripped off. the home button also has a built in cover, ripped that out after a week as it was interfering with my fingerprint to unlock the phone.Im HARD on my phones and cases, it has lasted me about 10 months. there is now a crack in the plastic in the upper right side so Im buying a new case. its still protecting my phone, but i figure if i drop it a few more times it wont lol.Definitely worth the small amount of money your paying, to protect your $700 phone!

Okay. Final answer. If you pay $10 and expect an Otterbox, you’ll be disappointed. If you know and have seen or felt an otterbox before, and expect an otterbox, you’ll be disappointed. If you pay $10, and don’t know what you’re missing, or are willfully expecting a knock off, you’ll be super pleased! Because while a little on the cheap side, it is 100% as advertised and totally functional. Touch screen works fine under the protector. The case stays on, seals properly, and does it’s job. For $10, I’m completely thrilled!

I've had my phone for two years now. This is the first time I've had to replace the case. My phone looks absolutely brand new. This second one came in and a few days later the screen protector was all scratched up and all sorts of stuff keeps getting under the case... not the same as last time... this is a major let down..
