62mm Pro Series Hard Tulip Lens Hood For Tamron AF18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD AF Lens,

This is a pretty decent lens hood for the price. It screws on so it is not convenient to take on and off. If you like to leave the hood on the lens it is fine. It takes a bit of fiddling to get it tight in the right orientation, with large petals at top and bottom and short petals to sides. If it is crooked you will get vignetting at the corners of your photos.With the hood aligned correctly there is a tiny bit of vignetting at 18 mm wide angle on my 18 - 270 Tamron.Di II. It would be barely noticeable in photos of the sky. However if you use a UV filter for protection like many people do, the hood is extended out slightly and the vignetting is increased. With the hood mounted on the skylight filter, the vignetting disappears at about 28 or 30 mm zoom. The inside of the barrel of the hood is what gets in the way and causes the dark vignetting in the corners. Fortunately a modest amount of grinding or filing removes enough plastic from the barrel to eliminate the vignetting. Just keep removing plastic till the vignetting disappears at the widest zoom.

The media could not be loaded.  Works amazing and ability to store it on my lens makes it efficient & effective to carry around if needed. Happy and grateful for the product thanks again!

Despite the specifications given on their product page, this lens hood did not fit my Tamron AF 18-270 mm lens. In trying to use it, many of my photos were ruined, and I wondered if it also did damage to my lens.Also, they shipped the product with a bribe - offering a memory card holder if you rate the product on Amazon, and reminding you to not give a rating any lower than three. They also sent multiple emails suggesting that I leave a rating but to contact them first if I was not going to leave a good rating.This is gaming the system, and is not fair to other suppliers. Please be aware that if you see ratings for this company, they are likely inflated due to their aggressive attempts to bribe and otherwise influence people to give them high ratings.The delivery was fine, the price was fine, and the lens hood is probably good for someone's lens, but it was below useless to me.

It's not reversable to fit and store the lens in the case. However, it's not fair if I complain about this because I bought it by mistake, so the lens hood itself should be fine even though I bought a new reversable one for my lens.

An excellent product. A perfect fit for my Nikon camera. Very easy to install and remove. I would purchase again.

Shade fit my rebel camera and worked as expected.

Product arrived a day earlier than estimated and in original boxes. It fit exactly as specified and works great. This is my third hood because the first 2 hoods got damaged while protecting my camera and lens in 2 separate accidental drops. The screw-on hood doesn't keep falling off as the OEM hood. However, it does mean that you need to take the hood off if you want to add a filter. I have these hoods screwed into a UV filter that I always have mounted on my lens. There is slight vignetting when I'm at the widest focal length (equivalent to 29mm), and stacked on top of the UV filter. Overall, very happy with this purchase (and much much much cheaper than other hoods).
