6 ft Pool Table

I am not a regular pool player. In fact I probably last played 50 years ago on coin tables in bars. I realized I have little use for a dining room and thought about how else I could use the space. A pool table seemed a good use. My dining room is small so the 6' table was as large as made sense. I even have to use a shorter cue for maybe 1/4 of the shots. I also don't use the legs of the table. I have secured it to my ex-dining room table and have done pretty well getting it level. I doubt it ever would be as level as a slate table, but it's pretty darn good. For about $400 it is a great bargain. It is well made and looks nice. The bumpers seem to be true with the correct action and the surface is very nice. The speed seems fine. I prefer the regular size balls that come with the table. I've only been playing 9-ball so it is less crowded than with all of the balls. The sticks that come with the table are pretty light, but they are straight and seem to work fine for me. I purchased a 42" stick for the tighter shots but am much more accurate with the longer stick that came with the set. Overall I am very happy with it. COVER: I searched all over for a cover for a 6 ft table with no luck in the US. I finally found one: Peradon. I purchased from ChessworthSnooker in the UK. Nice cover, fits perfectly.

Great pool table! Fun family activity. The 6ft table fits the space perfectly and is still a nice size. Very sturdy table, good quality. Box arrived undamaged and the table was in perfect condition except for one cue stick which was scratched. We contacted gosports and customer service was excellent. They mailed out a replacement cue that same day. We are pleased with this purchase.

Go sports Portable Pool Table Billiards Table 6ft Black is exactly as I expected. Great quality. Very durable, it should last a long time. Easy to assemble. The size is large. Great for adults. Fast delivery. The delivery gentlemen were very helpful and pleasant. I ordered the pool table for my grandsons’ (11 and 15 years ago) Christmas present (2024). I gave only four stars, because of the wear house damage to the pool table. My grandsons loved the pool table so much, I didn’t have the heart to return it. Plus, adding my fear of the second table coming to them even more damaged. Thank you, Go Sports.

A great pool table for the $

Great table and easy to set up but why doesn’t it have a spot sticker?

Did a bunch of research for a pool table for my tiny basement and the Go Sports was clearly the best bang for the buck. I really wanted the 7-footer but was afraid it would be too big. I was worried that the 6-footer wouldn't feel like real pool but it does! We have had a ton of fun. The bumpers feel similar to a bar room pool table and while small it still feels legit! We went with black and it looks good. Not thrilled about the look and longevity of the soft nets for pockets but I guess that is what you get with portable. Tip 1) We move it into the corner when not in use. This is easy for two people but nearly impossible on a rug for one person. We just purchased furniture sliders so a single person can pull it out for practice. Tip 2) No trick shots for amateurs! The felt seems thinner than regulation which means it tears easier. The first kid who tried a trick shot at our house ended up knicking the felt. No issues since we banned trick shots. Tip 3) 9 ball rack makes for better breaks on this smaller table than the 8 ball rack Tip 4) The recommended room measurements really factor in how much space you will need behind you when shooting with a standard pool cue. I was considering getting/making smaller cues and going with the 7-footer but I'm happy with the 6-footer. No one seems to care that it is small and none of us will be going pro playing pool in the near future. Tip 5) We thought we might break it down flat when not in use but we don't. While it's easy to make it flat it's a bit of a pain and won't be happening too often in our house. Tip 6) Cats like to play with the net pockets which could end up with torn nets in the future. Tip 7) Purchase a tablecloth to protect it from sun, dust, and cats. We found a clear PVC tablecloth for just a few $ that you can cut to fit perfectly. Tip 8) If the box is damaged don't accept it. We sent our first one back because the box was wrecked and we could see that the table inside was damaged via a huge hole in the box. The second one came in good condition.
