Hap Palmer forever!
I love Hap Palmer. I taught kindergarten in the 1980s. HP records were a mainstay of our day: circle activities, concepts, transitions, snack and rest times, reinforcing skills, games, and music skills. He never gets old. I still buy his albums for great nieces and nephews now. They love HP music. I smiled watching my 12 yr old niece singing HP songs from her early childhood. They stay with you forever. You won't ever regret purchasing an HP album.

GREAT PRESCHOOL PARTICIPATION CD
I purchased this CD specifically for the song, "The Circle Game." I provided swimming pool frisbees for each preschool child I was working with. Using a pool frisbee myself, we acted out the motions cued in this song. There is a second circle song on this CD. We used that song with the pool frisbees, too. The kids LOVED this activity! So much fun! Construction paper circles would also work and be less expensive and more spontaneous. The song "Sammy" is another excellent participation song, which is dearly loved by the children. This song invites the children to imitate the way animals move. I haven't actually tried the other nine songs on this CD.

I ordered it for motor development and fun for use with children ages 3-5. I have used it many times and it did everything I expected it to do.

Music for preschoolers
I have taught in early childhood ed for almost 30 years. Hap Palmer's music is some of the best that I have ever used. This particular CD is wonderful for the start of school. I just used it this week and the children really responded and enjoyed the music and actions. I do not see many out there that offer the same quality. I also bought 2 other Hap Palmer Cds and will be using all threee all year long. Definitely worth the money and I love Amazon's free shipping over $25.00. A very worthwhile purchase!

few cute songs
I am an Early Intervention Teacher for children 18 months - 3 years old with special needs. There are only 1 or 2 songs on this CD that I can use in my classroom. Catchy tunes on the whole CD, but the lyrics are too sophisticated for my kids.

Great for little ones learning about emotions
I am completely satisfied with this cd... I had this music on vinyl record years ago... so happy to find it on CD ... I have an in home child care and my little ones just love the songs and they use their imagination while listening by role playing.... teaches about emotions

Classic fun and learning all in one.
Children love to follow the directions to music on this CD. It is great for developing their listening skills. And adults like to do it too!
