Atona Canvas Backpack (Olive)

Just received my bag in the Denim Blue! Absolutely love it! I’m so glad I ordered it. Read all the reviews before ordering and they didn’t disappoint!!Definitely a well made, durable, perfect size bag for any everyday bag!!So many pockets (as shown) the material is quality canvas and appears this bag with last a long time!I already want another color….maybe!Great great purchase!!!

I like this bag a lot, and the only thing I’d change is to have a buckle closure instead of snaps for the flap. Mine seem to unsnap pretty easily. But all in all, I’m very happy with how durable it is, and I think the color is beautiful!

After reading some of the reviews for this bag I was a little worried.Thankfully that was all for naught, I am thrilled with this backpack.I am very outdoorsy and chose this bag for short to mid length day hikes. I need it to carry water, camera, my glasses, phone, hat, handkerchief, lip balm, a meal or a few snacks, the basics for when I plan to be on the trail for 4-6 hours.This bag is perfect for that function. It’s small enough to not look like I am trying to carry for a week excursion, and sturdy enough to hold up forever, this is some serious canvas folks! The stitching is heavy duty, the leather is well tanned, it is a bit heavy but that is to be expected considering the quality of the canvas.As far as accessing the top, it has snaps to tighten up the gap on either side of the zipper so that’s a non issue for me. If I had gotten this to carry a full size laptop I’d be disappointed, this bag isn’t big enough for that, I do think it could handle an iPad easily though. The olive color is a green-grey with a little brown, perfectly unobtrusive.I find the straps comfortable and strong, and the attachment point at the top is somewhat centered, which I find to be more comfortable for my shoulders then wide set straps. I carry a 32oz water bottle, which is here pictured both in and out to show the size of the backpack.There is plenty of pockets to keep my hikes organized. I probably wouldn’t use the outer pockets for water as I like to carry a big bottle, but they’d be perfect for my phone and glasses, stuff I reach for frequently. The only thing that isn’t perfect with this bag is that the snap magnets for the outer flap just aren’t that strong, I would have preferred something more grabby but it’s not that big of a deal as there is a zipper at the top so no risk of things spilling out. I will just take a bit of care with what I place in the front pockets.I tend to want to buy things for life, and for me this fits in that category. I will get years of use out of this durable bag, and due to its construction it will be perfect for mending should I ever have to repair it.This backpack is perfect for my needs.

Many thanks, fellow jungle explorers, to you and the seller for the chance to try TSD Atona backpack and share my thoughts. Nicely made, this arrives with a dustbag and and tags. One says it's "rooted in California" so you'd be forgiven for thinking that means it's made there (given the steep price) but it's not. My interior tag indicates it's made overseas, for those who are concerned about USA sourced goods. The bag itself is lighter weight canvas than I imagined, but still sturdy enough to last a good, long, while. The laptop sleeve has a frustratingly short, inelastic closure tab, so although my chromebook fits, I have to leave it open. Not the finest quality, not the worst.

This bag is much more than I thought it was. I got the Denim Blue color I love the color it is not actually denim material but the color is spot on and the brown accents look great. The material feels very sturdy and seems like it would last for a long time. The material is thick and feels reinforced.The bag has several pockets there are 3 pockets inside, two slip pockets that are open and convenient and then there is a padded "laptop" sleeve in the bag, however, my laptop is a 17-inch monster that would not fit but it is perfect for my iPad Pro and both cases. On the outside of the bag under the flap are two "water bottle" sized pockets, my water bottle would not fit in it but a 16 oz bottle might. I keep my selfie stick/tripod in one and my external wireless charger in the other. There are two smaller zippered pockets on each side which are great for my keys and earbuds. There are slip pockets located behind the zippered pockets for additional storage. There is also a larger zippered pocket across the bag which is great for items you need conveniently.There are two adjustable straps which I like, I usually only use one but it is nice having both times when I am in a hurry and don't feel like fiddling with the bag. I also wear the backpack backward with the pack on my chest when in crowds or riding the train, which is also nice when using both straps. It also has a convenient hook for hanging.My only complaint is that once everything is in place there is not a lot of space left for anything else, I would have liked it to be a little larger both width and height. Based on the description this bag hits all of the marks and is really nice and I am sure I will get years out of it.
