This camera is very sturdy I put this camera through two fires and several trainings since I bought it and it has not given up on me yet it has amazing video quality the picture is a screenshot I grabbed off of the camera on a fire The battery is good it comes with a spare battery and it last through several fires before I had to charge it several trainings and for the price it was worth every bit of it it's a good camera for your money for any firefighter The helmet cam I bought for three reasons One so I know I have accountability so I know I'm doing the right thing on seeing two I can go back and look at it for training purposes after a fire or when we're doing training go back and look at it and for peace of mind if somebody says we didn't do something right we can go back and show them we did definitely recommend this cam to any firefighter especially volunteers

I purchaed this fire cam a couple months ago and have used it several times. No complaints. It's easy to use, works as it should.The only "issue" (and I hesitate to call it that, because it's more user-error and expected technology related maintainance) is that the camera stopped working correctly after I had downloaded some footage. Batteries were charged, nothing amiss. I emailed custoemer support, heard back on the next business day and the sd card simply needed reformatting which took less than 3 minutes from start to finish and we're back in business!I would reccomend buying the extra external charger if you plan to use it a decent bit.Great product, great customer service.

It’s pricey but worth it. It’s easy to figure out how to use it. Durable, easy to attach to your helmet. Haven’t had it die or run out of space on a job. Only dig on it is that the mic doesn’t pic up sound to good, very muffled. I like how it Records discretely too. No bright flashing lights etc. Just make sure you read the instructions so that you don’t miss out on getting a good video of a job.

Do not buy, the file got corrupted on the one fire I fought! And I can never rewatch my first fire

I purchased this to document training sessions, and some response to utilize for after action review. It states it is not recommended for burn buildings, we had live burns and the camera worked without issue. The configuration settings are a little tedious, but other than that I am very pleased.
