Piecemaster Bobcat 300 Hotspot Helium HTN Miner US 915, Black

It was very easy to setup. After watching several YouTube videos I realized that it takes about 24-48 hours to see any progress being made on the application. Everything came well packaged and I didn't see anything I didn't like. The stock antenna was in perfect condition as well. It took 4 days of mining before I saw any witnesses or rewards. This seller is legitimate and the bobcat works great.

So I followed the instructions and the suggestions at the helium website, what I could find at bobcat as well as other online suggestions cause the "peoples network" support is the people in the network scratching their heads lolAlso went over it with my internet service provider. I went online and checked my ports and they are open. Did the static IP and even turned off questionable security measures that are suggested by the "community". disabled the Upnp and Tried wifi and cable, direct to modem and for a couple days just stayed relayed red light on the lan and still says relayed after a few days on wifi, still wont go online.Dont matter if it is manufacture defect or purposeful choking to lessen the amount of rewards that are split, Its happening to a lot of miners, and there is no real professional/developer support because it is "decentralized" lol.After trouble shooting and looking into all that I could find online to try to fix the connection issue. I saw on the hotspot locator what to look for, that there are probably 3-4 or so out of 10 miners are "relayed"wherever I looked and I doubt very much they relay by choice. So defect, or intention, that is a pretty bad failure rate.

The product arrive in a timely manner thanks to Amazon Prime. Experienced some issues setting up but the seller Flash Bargains was very responsive when I initiated a refund. The seller actuality took the time to troubleshoot the issue with me and I was able to resolve the setup issues. So far so good the device is now working properly.

Le escribí a la empresa del software y luego al hardware y los imbéciles jamás se tomaron el tiempo de siguiera responder, ni siquiera para decir allá no sirve. No lo recomiendo.

Got this miner and it took me about a week and a half to figure out how to get setup. Admittedly this is my first dedicated miner but instructions didnt help, heres why.The blue helium app. Doesnt work, download the black helium wallet app.There werent any credits for the device to onboard it, so i had to buy $50 of solana, do not buy it in helium. I used coinbase to purchase the crypto. Then transfer it over to the helium wallet, from there i could onboard it at the cost of, $50. It was a pain and trying to jump from one wallet to another and one crypto to another for a novice to this world wasnt the easiest, but being said, i got it setup at noon yesterday and its already made me $6 in IOT Helium so at least i know its working.

The data credits were not sufficient to onboard the unit to the Helium system for mining. I contacted Bobcat to buy additional DC on November 18, 2024. The response was, "they were working on it". As of today, December 7, 2024, I have no resolution. The miner is effectively of no use! Bobcat support is not responsive. Looking for another miner with better support!

Be careful when buying from third parties. Somone may have tampered with this miners before selling them. I'm not saying that the seller can't be trusted. I have bobcat miners from bobcats website and I do like them.

You must know how to access isp router and config correctly to work. Especially if you have a private ip address. You will need vpn and a static ip. And to set miner to static as well as port forwarding or dmz. Good luck 🤞!
