Inconvenient controls
Well constructed but it is inconvenient to switch between timer and clock as you have to use a switch on the back. Also you are not able to have a timer on screen and the clock at the same time. A button on the front to switch between timer and clock would improve the design considerably. Too loud even on the lowest setting.

2 missing qualities make it useless
I liked everything about the physical design and qualities in theory, however, unfortunately 2 functions that SHOULD exist on a kitchen timer are missing, and since they're important and I can't understand how they could have not implemented this.The first, is you can't set the seconds on the timer. In any quality kitchen, 1 minute is a long time, more than enough to ruin food you're cooking.The second, is it's not one touch operation. Unless I use the same timer exclusively(Why buy a 2 timer system if I'm only going to use 1?) you have to switch to the timer you want to start. Might not seem like much, but in a fast paced kitchen, every second counts, hitting the right timer counts, not fumbling with a timer you knocked over because you had to push 4 times to get 2 timers going, counts.I could complain about the sound it makes as well but that's just personal preference(Sounds like a truck backing up, not enough to catch your attention in a busy loud environment if you are focused on something else)

Insanely Loud!
This thing makes a piercing beep that will make your ears bleed even at the lowest level ( it will make your dog howl and your cat run for cover and shake in fear ) . Moreover it beep at every single key press to set the minutes, ie: 18 minutes equals 18 ear piercing loud beeps right in your face, ridiculous! The only way to solve this issue is to turn off the beep behind the timer but then it does not warn you when the timer is over. And why beep at every single keystroke? 100DB in your ear is not healthy. Worst design EVER! Thermopro NEVER AGAIN!

Good Design and Quality, and Good Price
I like the shape and design, except to switch between timer and clock. Its inconvenient for me to change the switch on the back. However, I bought that timer mainly for timer function, and the clock function I might seldom to use it. The dual timer function was everything good to me. That`s the reason why I gave 5 stars in the comment. If I could change the switch in the front panel, or the timer and the clock showed on the screen at the same time, I would have no complain on the device. The alarm sounds good in different level and so far I just used the lower level that`s OK for me. It`s easy to use and I had not found any problem on the device so far. Good purchase.

Nice, but loud!
I quite like everything about this timer except the alarm volume. It says it has three choices on volume level, but that function doesn’t seem to be working. All levels are so loud that both I and my cat jump when it goes off. (And this is a cat that pays no attention to coffee being ground in a burr grinder.)That being said, it’s easy to program and use. And I’m glad to have a gadget that has two timers that accept times longer than 12 hours.
